Bobby Marks details the 3-team trade that sends D’Angelo Russell back to the Los Angeles Lakers. Russell was drafted by LA with the 2nd overall pick in 2015, and then traded to the Brooklyn Nets for Brook Lopez and the draft rights to Kyle Kuzma.

    Bring in Scotty Pippen Jr. Why are other teams playing there young players and certainly developing them for the future ? No I say move Russell to the shooting guard and bring in Pippen Jr. to run the point … Its not rocket science !

    Lakers won the trade. We’ll be a 8/9 seed and win play in. From there I have no clue. Could lose in 1st round, or 2nd or idk. Depends on matchups and which teams are healthy. If Kd and cp3 are hurt we could go all the way. Kawhi health also sus. Ad health also sus. Idk.

    this trade actually gives lbj an ad punchers chance at doing something this year… last year they said russ ad lbj will work they didnt get to play together but we all knew its was wrapped from the jump they said this last year if ad an bron was healthy we would have made the play in but we just couldnt win games. this year squad before this trade was much better then last years team by a mile and we are still struggling to win games no way am I throwing all the blame on russ he didnt play bad at all off the bench hoesntly a great 6th man for us but the fit isnt there last year f*cked are team chemisty up so bad an we are lucky ad bron a russ kept it professional as they did but we could see by there body languages they didnt really mess with each other that much, like during the summer league games bron wouldnt even look at russ no talking or anything not saying there not friends off the court but on they didnt want each other as t8s and it was very clear i think we forget russ requested a trade it just wasnt heard by the front office cause poeple wanted to fleece us for a expiring deal. point is this will actually put us in the position the make a lil run it the playoffs or atleast play in and put us in a great position in the offseason to try an make a trade happen.. all teams won in this trade lakers get a guard they can sign an trade that actually has some value behind it also if they hold that 1st round pick they can package something crazy for a blcokbuster trade in the offseason or we can still manage to go for kyrie in FA this summer an let DLO walk an pick his own direction…

    Russell is one of the greatest athletes to play basketball and a future HOF player. With that being said people confuse playing fast with playing hard. Westbrook does everything at break neck speed because it's his gift to move like a cheetah. He does not play harder and surely not smarter than other players just faster. He should be a top defender with his athleticsm that would show how hard he is playing hard. He uses all his ability for offense.
