Green just continues to show he should start. Had 3 early stops on Kawhi in 1st quarter, made 2 athletic plays on D in 2nd.

He is really developing into a great 2-way player, his offense has improved so much. The one thing that makes me crack up about him is how he dribbles. If teams start getting called on carries then he’s toast, dude puts his whole hand under the ball every dribble, it’s hilarious.
We need to hype him up more. Hot trash on other teams get hyped for far less than Green. This kids a beast.

Kidd would be an absolute moron at this point if Green doesn’t start. He’s the team’s best defender (even when DFS was on the team). It’s mandatory imo u start all primarily defenders around Luka and Kyrie.
Green was fking amazing last night, his hands are quick af and so accurate. Hes got the hustle and work ethic of dp but with way more skill. And its showtime when hes flying down the court on a fast break, hardy too. I hope they continue to run on the break and luka buys into it instead of walking the ball up the court

Green is the lockdown defender we have been searching for years. I love Doe but it never felt right calling him an elite defender because he was slow footed and couldn’t keep up with any quick ball handlers.
If we can get jalen McDaniels and roll out a starting lineup of kai / green / luka / McDaniels/ wood thatās a perfect blend of offense and defense and a title contender

Other than his immaculate defense i’d want him shooting more. Last night he had only 7 shot attempts in 40 minutes.
I’m not afraid to admit that I’ve been a josh green doubter and I am glad he is proving me wrong so far this season. His development has been a delight. He just seemed to be in all the action spots. Deflections, tips, just everywhere.
definitely excited about Green’s expanded role. I like DFS a lot, I really do, and I’ll always be a fan of his (and would welcome him back in the future) but I think Green is probably already better and has a much higher ceiling.
If they trade Josh for another “star,” I’m just gonna play 2K.
