Well… that’s a lot for a guy that’s been riding the bench all season AND is an expiring contract. I really felt like some of those 2nds could have been used elsewhere.

Edit: I’m not saying I wanted to keep the 2nds and draft guys with them, I would have rather used them in trades for other players instead of burning them all on Crowder.

  2. PharmSystem

Seeing two are late 50s it’s really 3 and cash.

  3. Justinn_04

I love that only shams reports our trades after Woj fucked us

  4. AbbreviationsHot4482

Lmfaoo we got fleeced I hope you guys are happy now

  5. questionwhoisu

Getting BOSSMAN99 for a bunch of grade school kids?

  6. AaltoSax

Do we lose anybody else to make contracts match?

  7. LTtheBasedGod

That’s gotta be a record for seconds traded right? Lol

  8. F2P-Gamer

Sheesh. Well 2nd round picks could all be trash let’s win another ship. Crowder u better be worth it

  9. If 1 in 5 2nds turns into a role player, that’s about right

  10. Skeleboi846

Literally just finished my work and sent the email off ready to relax and this is the first thing I see after, good times

  11. yungchigz

Second round picks are basically useless but that is a lot for a guy that’s expiring and hasn’t played all year, but if he helps us win this year then we won’t even remember how many picks we gave up I guess

  12. ThrowMeTheFawayPls

I want to be optimistic, but I don’t think his fake-tough personality will be a good fit.

  13. Slow-Jelly-2854

FIVE? He’s a freaking expiring…we must have been DESPERATE

  14. TackySweater-

Man, could’ve had the next JOB with them picks

  15. SeaMeasurement9

At some point seconds are as good as firsts

  16. Its_Getting_Dark

5 is crazy, I’m guessing Horst has something else planned for Hill/Nwora/Ibaka so hopefully that makes giving up 5 worth it in the bigger picture

  17. SeaMeasurement9

Celtics got Mike Muscala for 2 seconds

  18. AnonymousFroggies

    Bucks FO: we want Crowder

Nets FO: hmmm, we aren’t really sure we want to trade him. You know what, give us 5 seconds and we’ll discuss it on our end.

    Bucks FO: deal!

  19. swaggydagoat

We’re getting our third ring. League is fucked. LFGGGGGGG 🤪🤪🤪🤪

  20. I’m guessing Horst’ll flip Ibaka for at least one second round pick, 5 sounds like a lot but their the cheapest asset to use

  21. fanofsports44

5 2nd round picks sounds like a lot until you remember that 2nd round picks anywhere are basically lottery tickets. We gave that up for a guy that helps the team now and gave up no players in return. Good trade.

EDIT: Never mind, it’s a 3-team trade with Nwora going out. Still good though.

  22. MacDemarcoMurray

LET’S GOOOOOOOO. been waiting all season for this. our small ball lineup and wing defense just got so much better. This could be the move that wins us the chip.

Horst was probably gonna trade all those 2nds for late 50s picks anyway

  23. YourFormerBestfriend

Oh no. We lost future nworras and Sam merrils

  24. HumaneSquash094

second round picks don’t typically mean much, but this is still a lot. those probably couldve been better used as filler for a more impressive trade.

  25. ohboy360

A guy that just is the opposite of everything this team is about. I don’t get it. The first Bucks player in a long time that I just cannot root for.

  26. Milwaukee007

Whatever you think you are, I am!!!!- Horst rn probably

  27. deniablebubbles

Whatever negative things I’ve said about Crowder in previous years I was just joking guys

  28. jasonrosenbaum

I like this trade. The second rounders aren’t that important, but perhaps we can get some back if we trade Hill/Nwora/Serge.

  29. lundej16

I’m choosing to frame the picks as “five Jordan Nworas” to remind myself how valuable 2nd rounds usually end up being

  30. chapoktt

Good deal, he could replicate the PJ Tucker role from the 2021 championship

  31. PlayboyCartee

For y’all saying this is a bad trade; y’all are wrong. We’re a win now team and our only competition is the Celtics. We need someone to guard tall wings like Tatum and we got that. Who cares about the future picks when we want to win RIGHT NOW. Plus, it’s the bucks, brodgon and redd are like our only good 2nd round draft picks ever

  32. Mcswigginsbar

Oh holy shit. We get a solid defender that will help us in June and keep our core of scorers. Helluva fucking trade here. We are in our window and second rounders mean fuck all to us right now.

My only concern is Crowder’s mentality. We really need him to be locked in and committed to winning a championship. He’s going to help and has a big role to play, but he’s also got to realize that our core is well established. The last thing we need is someone bitching about usage and minutes on this run.

  33. k_nuttles

I’ve never liked Crowder and was skeptical of his attitude this year obv, but I think calling him a locker room cancer is overstating it a bit. Seems like the kind of guy who teammates absolutely love when he’s bought in, and this team has the leadership to integrate that. Have to assume a role was discussed/agreed upon when they met with him. I wouldn’t have been happy giving up any real value for him, but a bunch of Doron Lamb’s is like whatever

  34. ZestycloseResist5594

Hmm. Not sure how I feel about this. Guess we’ll see come playoff time?

  35. sharklavapit

I hate Crowder, but we got him and didnt lose Grayson

    let’s fucking goooooo

  36. Murphy_York

Excellent trade. We need a big 3 and D wing for the playoffs. It’s just the reality of modern NBA. We didn’t give up squat for it either. It’ll be us vs Boston for the Finals, and I think the winner brings home the title.

Also, Crowded went to school at Marquette

  37. IdleRacey

So tired of the PJ Tucker talk. The worst offensive player in the NBA. Undersized, t-rex arms. Played extremely hard for us bc he wanted a chip and to get paid. Didn’t bring much though. Durant lit Tucker up. If anything we made it easier on KD putting a 6’6 forward on him with maybe the shortest wing span in the NBA. Durant was able to get his shot off easily anytime he wanted.
