If you want to compete for championship, you got to compete in transfer windows… I would rather have Bones stay and they work this out than trading him for nothing… Not even a decent bench player that can be servicable…. Everyone was boosting Bones talent, and I guess it's worth 2 rounders so Nuggets could compete possibly in 2030….
To the guy (Jimmy something)saying if we had suspended Bones for the season,if he remained an issue-wed get nothing for him…WE DID JUST GET NOTHING FOR HIM! NBA 2nds are almost worthless-especially for a contender.Its equivalent to like an nfl 6th or 7th rounder or nhl 4th rounder-basically piss in a cup is what we got. But if you waited til the offseason,you dont giftwrap him to a potential 1st round opponent.
Not to mention Erics point-we have no clue who might get hurt-our pg depth is awful now.Brown has filled in fine,but even Malone admits hes not a pg.Ish Smith is our pg depth. We solved our biggest weakness at backup center with Bryant-very good move. And if they sign a veteran backup pg on the buyout market-ill feel much better.(not John Wall,& ESPECIALLY-not Westbrick) But if they dont-I think we are probably screwed. Girftwrapped the Clippers a chance to fix a talented Bones,& if we dont add a backup pg-I think itll cost us the Finals-maybe even WCFs-flatout. And itll be mostly Booths fault,for taking a risk he didnt need to do now. You cant trade him to the East,for a few worthless 2nds?
I also agree that the Nugs are still the West favorites,but the gap has narrowed a bunch to Phx. Nugs did get better cuz Bryant is a very good backup center. But how Harrison can say their ceiling is the same…thats just ridiculous. You traded a very talented young player with a pretty high ceiling for nothing-how can you say your ceiling hasnt dropped? Ya better get some kind of decent backup pg through the buyout.

Bones was fun at times, but not really contributing to wins. He made a lot of bad passes and frantic moves. Hyland Jordon should also move on.

Sad to see Bones go, especially for 2 second round picks, but glad we got a true back center with Bryant. Hopefully we take advantage of the buy out market!

I like Bones too, but he was too small and too ball-dominant. Booth wants long 3&D wings, and we can't afford any distractions in the locker room. I don't like flipping him to the Clippers, but I think shortening the bench helps Malone in this stretch run.

Nice moves. Team got better. It would be useful if Booth could get starting wing for MPJ, to me he is a taller Hyland, superb spot up shooter with below average defense who can't create for himself or the others, it seems that no one wanted that contract.
