This gonna be a hell of a ride to the end of the season lol

  2. LaughingPlanet

Am i crazy, or did 2 of Detroit’s 14 wins come against us this season? Then we sent them JW?

  3. hhatdogg

any chance GP plays the next game vs. the Lakers?

Funny to see that a lot of other teams’ fans still list the Dubs as a team they’re scared to face in the playoffs despite us being the 10th seed and not having shown even one stretch of greatness the whole season. Dubs are still in their nightmares and recognize them as the playoff leviathans that they are

With Wiseman moved on… who do you hope we pick up in the draft? Seems like Filipowski or TJD would be awesome players smart and skilled enough to be better nba bigs for the Dubs. Leonard Miller kinda a dark horse too. The calculus definitely has changed.

I don’t even care how much the needle gets moved from this trade(it’s a lot btw. You’ll see).

The thing that I love most about it is that it shows that the organization isn’t willing to give up on the dynasty just yet. The West may be a bloodbath, but the solution to that isn’t to just give up and go into rebuild. Steph, Klay, Dray, Looney, Iggy, and Kerr all deserve to see this out until the end, whenever that will be.

The trade shows that despite the two timelines, when push comes to shove, Lacob will have Steph’s back. Couldn’t have been easy for him. Wiseman’s development was partially tied to Lacob’s ego and great owners know when to let go of their ego on certain matters and admit the harsh realities. Good on you Joe. Still the best owner in the league.

We can beat the Suns. The Mavs. The Nuggets. The Grizzlies. Shiny new toys who I am sure are all destined for great things in this league, but people have forgotten, the Warriors fucking run this league.

Man everybody said Blazers would lough if we siggest GP2 for Wise, and look were we are

I’m so glad this fanbase doesn’t have to be divided on Wiseman anymore. We can move past it and focus on our current roster.

I really hope we get k love in the buyout market

  10. Daconvix

Waking up with no Wiseman and GP2 back feels marvelous. Get another big in the buyout market and there’s still a glimmer of hope

  11. PerformanceDry5635

Does anyone know when will be the first wisemen game for the pistons?

  12. Acceptable-Olive3666

Sad about James gone but happy that Gary is back where he belongs. Hope JK can give us what James couldn’t

Hate to be negative posting in a time like this, but ngl I wish we did more at the trade deadline than just get GPII back. Don’t get me wrong, I love the guy and it’s great that we got him back, but I still feel like we didn’t get a whole lot better with his addition. The roster feels more or less the same as last year except without OPJ (and to an extent Beli). I don’t feel like he’s a huge loss, but anyone saying that our team this year is comparable to last year’s is kidding themselves.

It feels like there’s a lack of urgency with this team even when we’re floating around .500. Even Steph who says that they’ve got to turn up the intensity is prone to terrible clutch turnovers and cold shooting. Don’t want to be a doomer but I’m not loving our chances at a title defense this season, but I would obviously *love* to be proven wrong.

Can’t wait to see our double pest lineup with one of the Klamps, Klay and Dray. Our second unit is gonna be so good lol

I’m always gonna be the cautiously optimistic fan no matter what so this might mean nothing. But I think we did really well in the trade.

Teams like Lakers and Suns did huge trades that makes them look instantly better than us on paper but I think both those teams needed way more upgrades than we did.

We already have the best five man starting lineup. We have Donte, GPII, JP, JK on the bench. We need one more center to be pretty much just as good as last year if not better.

We added defense, morale , depth, chemistry, bench celebrations and most importantly a good and happy storyline. As fuckedup as it sounds, Wise was turning into a huge distraction. Kerr and the locker room vs Lacob in a pissing contest as we’re trying to turn our season around.

Our halfcourt defense, rebounding, hustle, dawg-o-meter and drives to the paint got so much better with Gary’s addition. I’ll bet you the big three and pretty much everyone else is gonna play focused and fight now. This could be a huge turnaround with effortless adjustments.

A source, who was granted anonymity so that they could speak freely, says a reason Payton was traded was he indicated he didn’t want to be in Portland and was ecstatic to return to Golden State, an embarrassing development for Cronin’s first free-agent signing.

    Wow.

  17. Draymond_Purple

Is there a possibility we keep Donte next year now?
