in light of the Russ trade/slander/probable waiver, I was struck by how different his departure from OKC was.

I am thankful for Russ’s time in OKC and for our fanbase’s loyalty to him. While I don’t think Russ fits our timeline or makes sense on our roster, I hope he finds a place in a team whose fans are willing to embrace him and can tune out the national media noise that slandered him in LA.

why you making people cry this time of hour

  3. Russ deserved better than what he got when he left OKC. I’m not surprised people turned on him, larger market fanbases and how they treat their teams and all… I hope, if he goes to LAC, he finds his fit. At the very least, I hope he finds somewhere to not be the scapegoat for horrible team management.

The hate and vitrol this man gets from the media and fans is gross. Especially Lakers fans, I never realized how nasty and toxic they were until they got Russ, I hope Lebron leaves them ASAP

I’m soooo happy to not have to watch the Lakers anymore!
