  1. It's sucks to see Bridges go but I get that it had to happen if you wanted to get KD. He better not be hurt for the play-offs.

  2. Claxton is better than Ayton? Kev you sound crazy. Ayton plays like a top 5 center when he’s on. Stop the disrespect

  3. Problem is Bridges and Johnson are 3 and D players…..they need to be matched up with a superstar to be effective.

  4. The Nets won't be able to build around a star, but they can build up to a star like Daryl Morey did with the Rockets: collecting assets until he could trade for Harden.

  5. Brooklyn was blinded by nba stars. I hope they learn their lesson. 3rd time makes them the dumbest team ever

  6. I feel like if Brooklyn trades KD last offseason, they get a way better haul than they got from Phoenix.

  7. real value would have been adding simmons and ayton to the trade, that would put the nets in miles better situation

  8. This guy sounds ridiculous acting like he don't know how they could do better with the Durant trade. You know what the other guys saying, stop acting like that.

  9. “Claxton is better than Ayton” is a real memory of a goldfish take. Ayton bullied Jokic of all people in the playoffs just two seasons ago.

  10. Watching that nets team last night is making me kind of question kd's logic. The nets have 2 elite defenders in claxotn and dorian finney smith, they have 2 shot creators who can give you 35-40 a night in offense, snipers up and down the bench and tons of other versatile wings like watanbe and royce oneal. After the kyrie trade they really put a strong supporting cast around KD. Booker and old cp3 and ayton isnt a better supporting cast im sorry. I think KD is being shortsighted bc he just saw booker and him being a scoring machine but defense and depth matters alot in the playoffs.

  11. Can you simps stop calling that baby back bitch, Durant, “one of the greatest”? Dude literally only wins on the most stacked teams. On only pretty stacked teams,he tops out in the conference finals. George gervin 2.0😊

  12. The Nets traded a top 5 player for role players. Not even a fringe Allstar. The picks they got back aren’t even likely to be top 5. Mid package

  13. I like Kevin o'connor but he shouldn't make these podcasts with that weird guy. Wtf was that getting a star in return of Durant trade and assuming ayton is more valuable than bridges?? That was the most meaningless trade discussion ever, KOC literally tried to explain that trade wasn't bad at all for the nets like for whole 7 minutes of time

  14. No, they my didn’t get enough for KD or Kyrie. The Gobert trade — FIVE players, four picks and a swap. There’s no reason KD should’ve gone for any less.

  15. One thing that really surprises me in the coverage of all of this, is that nobody is really talking about how Sean Marx isn’t getting fired. They just keep letting him make these decisions that are setting the nets back. I get that he took some chances and I didn’t pan out but it just seems like, there is no accountability

  16. "Best player in the world" who hasn't done sh*t by himself 🙄 over RATED!

  17. I cannot stand that dude on the right. It’s his conversation about bridges that really makes me wonder how much he actually pays attention to basketball. He talks like a casual.

  18. media fading Mikal is ridiculous, he’s a huge value star in the new NBA, never misses a game, never whines, just shines, has no weakness, guards 4 positions at the highest level, imo intrinsic value somewhere between Ingram and Pascal

  19. The toxic treatment of people who believed in natural immunity and questioning the vaccine in the media was where this Al went wrong and strict laws in some cities and Canada. The organization sided with the media hype. Kyrie stood for his belief. Him in Texas is perfect. KD I’m PHX is perfect. Let the nets suffer, they have a lot of great pieces though. Simmons play point with shooters and Claxton. Cam and Bridges could take star leaps with room to grow now. Will be interesting to see

  20. I don't know what return they would have gotten for KD. can they have both Barnes and OG for KD? Toronto likely won't take that.

Or to Portland – Grant and Simons? Nets probably won't take that.

Bridges is a pretty good return rather than an extended Ayton.

  21. I expect that there is going to be a nasty CBA negotiation with a lock out . Most of the owners are fed up with key players signing contracts and not just demanding trades but leveraging the destination . However, that involves rolling back certain terms under the current CBA so the players are not going to agree leading to the lockout. There will be some division amongst owners with the most obvious dissenter being the Buss family because their only real source of revenue is the franchise and because LA is a preferred destination but most of the smaller market owners will demand it . The Union will start off unified and that should hold for at least a few months.

  22. Sean Marks is Building the Nets into "scrappy " team just like the NBA's version of the Washington Generals to the rest of the NBA's GlobeTrotters .They will go absolutely NOWHERE in the Playoffs.

  23. I would of called the pelicans and tries to get Ingram, Dyson Daniels, and picks of called the Blazers and tried to get Simons, Grant, nurk and a pick of something

  24. I'm not the biggest Ayton fan, but it's ridiculous to say Claxton is better than him. I literally just watched Ayton go against him a few games ago, and ayton dominated him.
