  1. WalkerTejasRanger

3-0 without Luka since the Kyrie trade

  2. Karen showed up and showed out tonight! Great energy from her all around. Really excited to see what she brings for the rest of the season.

  3. DirkNowitzkisWife

Kyrie with 25 and 10 assists, josh green with 17/4/7, 42% from 3, and 18/19 from the line?? Let’s go!

  4. pilfecapskcab

Wood blew his load early and called it a night. Hate when that happens

  5. EarSea5884

And the award for most annoying fan of the year goes to…

  6. pancakesontheweekend

It’s so nice to have a player that can consistently make free throws.

Edit: Especially in the 4th quarter.

  7. NeverToxic

Kyrie might have just unlocked prime Javale McGee for us

  8. Another wire to wire win

Against the Clippers, and now against the Kings…

    Two playoff teams

    This team is DIFFERENT now

  9. Legend has it, that the Kings are still shooting free throws to this day…

  10. girlscoutcookies05

That first quarter was like CRACK

  11. Vonbonnery

It’s taking all my strength to not buy a Kyrie jersey right now

  12. PerpetualWinter

We do not win this game without Kyrie

  13. Having someone elite from the ft line especially in clutch time feels good

  14. MordredKLB

FUCK YOU SCREAMING LADY. THIS WIN WAS FOR YOU!

  15. 3 game win streak without luka. Unfathomable.

  16. AKAYoungGoat

The FT shooting is going to come in so clutch.

  17. bigmeatyclaws1

It is SO nice to have a guy whose free throws are basically an afterthought

  18. ConvolutedMaze

I thought kyrie was meh from the field but iced the game with all those made free throws. So nice to have.

  19. ForestJordie

Kings shoot 3x as many FTs before they started intentionally fouling. Crazy, solid win tbh

  20. TZBlueIce

I was getting carried away there about how much we really even need Luka, but luckily for him that 4th quarter brought me back down to earth and reminded me.

So excited to see Luka and Kyrie together tomorrow. Let’s leave with 3rd in the West

  21. I just wish Kidd would make better adjustments when teams start coming back.

  22. Simple_Wait_7286

Watching these two games, I made some observations on how Luka can fit in:

    1. Early game, keep the ball moving and try to move without the ball (or set screens for someone else with the ball or moving off ball). No reason to dribble too much unless it’s necessary. Guys need to continue moving well off the ball as well, it has worked beautifully early in these last two games.

    2. Get out in transition. Luka obviously can’t do this well but he has to initiate the fast break (as he said today) by getting it to Kyrie or Josh when there’s an opportunity. Increased tempo has been a big positive since Kyrie joined.

    3. Late in games, we play more Luka/Kyrie ball. If you notice in both games, the first halves were smooth sailing. But in the second halves though, both the Clippers/Kings made the adjustment to our increased tempo/ball movement and the offense slowed down. This is where Luka (and Kyrie) take over.

  23. ShootMeOutOfACannon

We’re winning games with Theo Fucking Pinson closing

  24. dondisciple

Harper letting Kyrie know we appreciate him…. Doing the lords work 😆

  25. Juniper41

If this is the new Wood, I’m totally fine if the FO passes on him. Pouting if he doesn’t get his shots, little to no defense, lack of hustle? Hoping this isn’t the Wood that finishes the season and he can play his role, give good effort and play smart basketball.

Tonight was the first night I was actually wanting more McGee minutes. Never thought I’d say that.

  26. dr_doodlepants

Damn, Kyrie speaks so well and highly of his team mates. Gah, I’m falling into the trap!

  27. rockeymaivia

An average of 15 mins for our 5 position. We playing small ball now.

    Point Center Luka tomorrow yall

  28. PubicAnimeNummerJuan

Kyrie with 3 ORBs, dude has a lot more hustle than I expected

  29. Kyrie seems like he settles the young dudes on the court, while Luka turns up the pressure. Going to be a nice balance.

  30. htking2019

We need to go ahead and win tomorrow and snatch the 3 seed.

  31. love-one-score-games

That post game interview was very telling. Kyrie was expecting a bunch of criticism and he just busted out laughing when the response was “HELL NO”.

What a difference in markets. There might be some drama along the way ( it’s the nba, after all) but kyrie is in the right place where he really will be appreciated.

  32. Simple_Wait_7286

I mean the formula on offense is simple right? Keep the ball moving and if the other team makes the adjustment, Luka/Kyrie do their thing.

  33. ZealousCatracho

Guys I’m ready to get my heart broken. I love Kai. I don’t think he had a good game as the Kings defended him well yet he still contributed to us winning.
