Wizards President and GM Tommy Sheppard joins the show the day after the NBA Trade deadline to talk about his team’s decision to stay put including holding on to Kyle Kuzma. The team did trade for Rui Hachimura, which Sheppard outlines the benefits of in detail, but otherwise didn’t find a trade it liked on Thursday. Sheppard reveals the team did inquire about Kevin Durant from Brooklyn “but every other team came in second” to the Suns.
Sheppard also defends his team’s draft record, from Deni Advija to most recent 1st rounder Johnny Davis.

Thank you for doing every fan a big favor!
We needed to hear that thanks 🙏🏾
I for one will not stand for this Kuzma slander! 🤣
I feel like I have watched the "building a roster takes time'" movie before
This is a guy who is building up his draft capital. Now he only needs to learn how to draft
Wizards never know how to develope their rookie's. They always go somewhere else and become great. Sick of this franchise
