In addition to leading the league in total blocks, Brook Lopez is leading the league in contested shots by an absolutely preposterous margin

The gap between Brook and Zubac (#2) is larger than the gap between Zubac and PJ Washington (#30)

I will say though that Evan Mobley being top 10 in both contested 2s and 3s is extremely impressive.

How is JJJ not even on the list? damn

Also, on 2pt shots, the gap between Brook and #2 is larger than the gap between #2 and *#47*

He should have like 50 more blocks, too. My man is getting robbed out there on the stat sheets.

So, that’ll make him, what, 9th in the DPOY vote?

Surprised not to see Jaren Jackson Jr. on this list…

I’m too lazy to look this up, but this makes me wonder what his ranking for shot block percentage on contested shots would be.

But no conversation for DPOY. I wish Brook’s teammates and coaches would speak up for him. I know he probably doesn’t want the attention but man he’s so deserving.
