Josh has been the perfect pick-up because he fits in with the culture plus he fits the areas we need. Rj is a third-leading scorer who averages 20pts a game any team would kill for that, one thing I agree with is that he needs to pick his defense up. Grimes is fine right now most of his energy is being concentrated on the defensive end his shooting will pick up as the season progresses Im not worried about it

So I'm excited about this team. There is no superstar yet, but we have to find the right superstar. What superstar do you guys think work on this team? Also, what do you think the package would be to get Mikal Bridges and unite the Villanova boys?

RJ sucks. He never deserved that contract.

RJ would be better suited coming off the bench…. 1. it would give the bench that needed scoring punch. 2. RJ and IQ would serve as the bench equivalent to Julius and Brunson. 3. RJ is a horrible defender. Brunson and Julius need that 3 and D defender in addtion to Grimes. 4. Julius and Brunson take the majority of the shots which impacts RJ and his shooting percentage. 5. Hart is a better fit with the starting unit as he doesn't need the ball as much and does the dirty work. Grimes, Hart, and mitch would elevate the defense. RJ is an inefficient offensive player and bad defensive player….that spells bench material. If Tyrese Maxey can come of the bench and is the second best player on the sixers, then NO ONE should argue about RJ coming off the bench. Tyrese Maxey is a waaaayyy better player than RJ.
The knicks literally didnt compete in like 6 games all year. They played hard and been in every game outside a few. Even the elite teams cant make that statement..
Been a fun season so far and I agree the Hart trade goes under the radar. This dude can ball and plays good defense. He's the hustle guy we needed💪.
I think we are a legit playoff team. We are not contenders. We simply don't have that level of talent (yet). But, we should be competitive in the 1st round and maybe, even, get to 2nd round. And I am fine with it. I want Randle, JB, and the rest to experience playoff series and grow from it, learn some lessons. Last time, Randle choked but this year he will have RJ and JB and a pretty deep bench to help him out. Ideally, we can package some of our young talent and the picks and land a superstar so next year we can compete for a ring.
Hart needs to take playing time from RJ NOT Grimes or Quick. RJ simply put is not worthy of playing more than the aforementioned. I can not be the only one that sees that the team is better when he is off the court am I?

RJ Barrett has his moments but I don't think he even knows the definition of defense. He just stands around until we get the ball again.
RJ is fine. He’s playing behind 2 all stars and is still improving at 22. His defense has regressed but I think he’ll get back to it. Wait til he get his grown man body figured out at 24/25. Let him progress and keeping build like they’re doing. Hart & RJ already showing chemistry game 1. Praise both.
RJ’s bag is less than Tyler Herro. Stop it. He’s not making all star money. Julius and Brunson contracts are bargains. Look at those other all star contracts. Lol

How do you expect RJ to be an allstar as a 3rd option? We can’t even get Brunson in the asg. Not worried about him. Also grimes is struggling but he’ll come around, he just needs to get more comfortable
