Kd was scared of the Celtics
They did give up draft picks for Durant and irving. Due to those signing they HAD to then go out and trade for Harden. If not for that, they would have their own picks and could bottom out to get elite top tier draft talent. But they cant. Now they have to make trades to ever get that talent again. So unless they do they arent winning a championship until after 2029 at some point.

KD is stupid for wanting to go the Suns. Even if they win a title, this does very little for his legacy as people will just say that he won a title on a stacked team again as the team already have D-Booker, CP3, and Ayton. The team he joined is essentially a slightly weaker version of the Warriors!

How did Brooklyn not get Ayton or get rid of Simmons in this deal? KD attachment was the best way to get value. Huge loss for BKN on this I’d have looked at Memphis for KD they had way more valuable assets.

Having a playoff system really puts lot of pressure to get those TOP, TOP level players. You aint gettin there without teamwork but once you meet the same team again and again, you need players like KD to provide that final edge. If this was league system things would have taken such a different route. Recommendation: watch both European football and NBA. It is so entertaining XD

There's an imbalance at shooting guard. So much talent there (Dinwiddie, Thomas, Curry). Should trade one for more assets or a point guard. If not, two of the three talents will be restrained and of those one unfortunately may be out of the rotation.
Great move, we have the beginnings of a talented youthful foundation.

It was hard to NY basketball before. I thought hope was out of the question before my favorites player's Kyrie and KD. Unbelievable moment. Thank u. NY got smartest basketball game. We know what it is. It's ban Simmon. I blame the GM for that. I've always hated harden. I don't know y we got him. Stick to basic. We just needed center.
The big mistake was the Harden trade. Durant and Irving didn't cost the nets anything except cap space and D'Angelo Russell.

If I was the president of the Nets front office I would have never traded my superstar players without receiving another superstar player no way they did a bad deal all the way around now they have nothing, if I couldn't make a superstar deal I would have kept Durant in Brooklyn, Kyrie had to go no matter what he was a bag of problems and the Nets didn't need that, what the Nets need is two super star players and another defensive player and beef up their bench for next year , this year for them is over they blew it.
