He doesnt want to be a bench player, he doesnt want to downshift into something else, he NEEDS to be that 20 a night triple double threat player. Thats all he knows how to be and will not change his game otherwise, at least so far. When he is put in a different position than being the main guy on offense, he fails. The fact he and Carmelo Anthony were on the same team and people were shocked that didnt work just shows how much people dont know these players history. Both ball dominate players who need to be the center of attention on offense at the SAME TIME with Lebron? What a horrible team that was and to see Westbrook be anything else is just lack of understanding.
Its interesting to hear these guys knock the Suns for the lack of a bench. Before the trade the Suns had a very good bench the last couple of years, yet the bench was not good enough to win a ring or even get past the second round last year. The bench disappeared in the playoffs. So to knock the Suns for a lack of a bench all of a sudden is pretty ridiculous. And when playoffs come around, the bench is not played much anyway, the rotation shrinks for every team. But the Suns bench couldnt get it done last 2 seasons, dont know how they would of gotten it done this year. And Suns arent done wheeling and dealing, the buyout market will help them shore up the team.
