The Pitt Panthers defeated Georgia Tech, 85-79 in double overtime in ACC Women’s Basketball play. The Panthers had 5 players score in double-figures, led by Avery Strickland with 17 points off the bench. Maliyah Johnson added 16 points, Dayshanette Harris scored 15 and Liatu King scored 13 points and grabbed 13 rebounds in the win. Kara Dunn led Georgia Tech 20 points, Tonie Morgan scored 12, grabbed 7 rebounds and had 4 assists, Cameron Swartz scored 11 for the Yellow Jackets.
