Maybe Weaver is going away from the 3pt dominant shooting team to a team that is bigger more versatile. More teams are playing 2 bigs, Jazz/Cavs/ TWolves & Magic. Troy trying to create w/ Duren & Wiseman? Just have to surround with shooters

As a Dubs fan, it kills me we traded Wiseman. This kid didn't get treated well at all at GS. He is a good kid who had his confidence destroyed by Draymond and Kerr. This kid is easily going to give you 20/10. I wish him much success.

None of this matters if they don't go out and get a coach who gives a damn and isn't trying to play a style of basketball that was invented when they used Peach Baskets for hoops. Casey has to go. It's the only way this team will get anywhere. Everything on offense devolves into isolation and everything on defense is zones that require perfect communication and understanding from each player. They need to draft or find free agents that can supply wing depth and perimeter defense so that the bigs have an easier time on the help side defense. Lots of work for Troy to do in the next two years. If he can't deliver, we'll be right back into another rebuild. Gores will not have the patience to stomach a rebuild that isn't playoff ready in year 4 or 5.
Two bigs can work if everyone starts playing on the defensive end.
What rookie can come in and contribute at a championship level? That's a highly unfair comparison. Not even Ball

Wiseman has tremendous skills….Troy was right to obtain him. We can get our wings in the draft/post season. Wiseman is a GREAT gamble that could elevate our team tremendously. All reports are that Wiseman is a fine young man; lets all be REAL Pistons fans and support him as he is allowed to gain his experience.
I would encourage the Pistons Fans not to look at James as a Center and see him for what he is…A Power forward that grew to 7'1.

3:50 If I'm being honest I don't think LaMelo or Edwards would have faired well on the W's. I could see them both being in Kerr's doghouse early and stifling their growth. If Wiseman's rookie season taught me anything— is that Kerr is horrible at cultivating young talent. That's why Myers/Lacob had to break the bank to poach Toronto's head development coach.
