  1. I always hate losing to the Warriors. It just doesn’t feel good.

  2. Couldn’t grab key rebounds when we needed, couldn’t get the key stops.

  3. kilopatricko

Offensively I can’t even complain. And Deni did a great job on Wiggins, but he was just hitting great shots. Defense was atrocious. I think our ball movement Q1 was excellent but needed to maintain that level of movement the next 3 qs for us to win. Oh well.

  4. Substantial-Lab-5647

The officials blew our chance. Don’t know what else we could do when Green is literally undercutting KP.

  5. blitzKriegzzz

    Just terrible defense today.

    – Bad effort

    – Bad Lineup decision (wtf are we playing nunn/morris/beal together for?)

    – KP and Gafford need to rebound better

NGL Wiggins was hitting some crazy shots at the end, not much we can do against that.

  6. Greatwallofjohn

Very frustrating game, between the warriors shooting and the refs, beal with another good game

  7. BetterLeftUnsung

Tough to win games when only 3 or 4 players show up for the whole 48, but at the end of the day losing to a hot shooting warriors team in Chase Center isn’t the end of the world

  8. Solid-Confidence-966

Tbh the fact that we held Klay to only 4/13 is a positive. Gotta lock in on everyone else though

  9. SelfLoathingWizfan

The refs didn’t run any weird rotations, fail to make adjustments, or schedule a random West Coast trip on (relatively) short rest…but they didn’t need to.

  10. Extension_Phone893

The rebaunding is whats killing this team, they had 10 more shots and many of those offensive rebounds ended in a 3

  11. Can’t guard the 3 to save our lives and we’re facing Dame + Anfernee tomorrow… gotta close out! Letting Jamychal Green go 4-4 from 3…

  12. BiggestSecret13

I just hope Bradley plays tomorrow, that comeback was almost successful. Nice try guys!

  13. The_BadJuju

I like Nunn and Jackson a lot but we cannot run 3 guard lineups with them. Just awful defensively with that many small guys

  14. PaulTaulborg

    GSW: 57% shooting, 73% FT.

    Wizards: 60% shooting, 85% FT.

    The power of the three.

  15. KingRagerBlade

It’s the little things throughout the game. Maybe the stats don’t say it but we don’t grab the rebounds at key point. It seems like any resistance to our defensive rebounding rewards the other team with the offensive board. Unacceptable for a 2 big lineup. Also regardless if we up by 50 points, we cannot let the other team get any open looks. That’s why we blow leads. We just get cocky and think one blown defensive possession will get made up with another good offensive one. Nah man we aren’t at that level yet or even close to it.

  16. onigami_los

Doesn’t matter how good we play if the refs are going to call phantom calls on us and then let the opponent maul our players.

  17. latterdaysasuke

Can’t really be too surprised at the outcome. Championship caliber offense vs Wizards offense. Can’t really do much when they decide to go off from 3 like that.

  18. kamikazemelonman

I would like to preface this by saying we are the Wizards, they shot 50% from three with mediocre shooters cooking us. BUT. We did cut it to 7, have all the momentum, and three straight calls on the wiz, some interesting non calls. (Deni getting hacked several times, poole running through Delon and its a defensive foul, ect), and that bullshit with the clear path/ take foul not being called ended the game.

When you play big market/media darling teams like this, you have suspect officiating. They just dropped to .500, they dont have steph for 2 months. If the warriors lose too much, eyeballs go away.
As I said in the GT: Anyone who is surprised by the officiating did not watch the officials rig 2 games against the CP3-harden rockets so warriors could go another round with Lebron.

This is not even touching the horrendous officiating where Bogut and Green could O-line block for their first run. Bogut goes on TV and says they let them get away with it.

The Celtics current iteration with Tatum gets the most obscene whistle I have seen other than the curry warriors. The officiating flipped at least two games (and thus the series) against Miami last year, and one game against Milwaukee, with another being close. As long as the FT is the best shot in basketball, the officials can control any game.

  19. Vogon_Poet

This is a weird Deni comment. A month ago this is a game Deni scores zero points. But he pushed and clawed his way to 7 in the second half by staying aggressive, running in transition, and continuing to shoot when it was his turn. All while handling Wiggins and Klay on defense.

  20. laflarehare

I don’t think Bradley Beal loses his motherfuckin tooth if he’s not getting hacked. The Warriors get the license to kill by the NBA. Draymond Green geta animated, flails, hacks and kicks players in their plums and they have the nerve to call it good defense lol c’mon now!

The Wizards win this game if they don’t let Ty Jerome and Jamychal Green get big minutes. DiVincenzo does not hit like that so it’s very unlucky that he was hitting shots. Overall the Wizards played well through some very physical defense and got some bad no calls. The Wizards were not given the same respect while on defense but that is the NBA!

Can’t wait till Kuzma comes back and finds a rhythm in this team because they are flowing very well right now.
