Markelle continues to impress me more and more every game. He always plays with such amazing pose and almost never makes a bad play. I don’t think him being an all-star one day is out of the question

Crappy game from both teams but we pulled it out. The starters finally played great and bench was bad. Great bounce back game.
Let’s get another one tomorrow with two very winnable games at home after the break. Gotta close this month out strong for the stretch run in March and April
Glad we won the game, but I’ll repeat what I said about Bol in the thread: he doesn’t deserve minutes over Houstan, Isaac, even Kevon and soon Okeke. A few flashy plays aren’t worth all of the turnovers. Not sure why Coach sticks with him.
It’s a tight battle between seeds 10-13. We’d for sure want some of our Co-play-in contenders to lose some games and for Magic to not lose games from now on. We may be a little too late as well, but it has been a GREAT TRY! If only recent merits are counted too.
Really awesome to see Paolo and Franz(though he didnt shoot that much) break out of their shooting slump.

Small aside but it looks like Chuma might not be a regular in the rotation. I’m assuming he takes JI’s min tmrw when he sits. It’ll be interesting how Mose figures out the min btw JI, Bol, and Chuma. I personally think Chuma should play over Bol
Won every quarter, great full game effort. Kinda low energy from both teams but a win’s a win
Everyone send the refs a thank you card for letting us win tonight. Not saying they didn’t still do a bad job but they didn’t completely screw us over.
Here are my thoughts on this one:
It started off really slow, then it got kinda touchy. It got really physical for a while; they were riding the post, and we were pounding them with D. They were getting closer, and it felt like we were gonna blow it early. Then something happened, and they exploded out of nowhere! They kept coming and coming, but then… we came back and finished with us on top!
It was messy at times, but the most important thing is that we scored, the win.
My only critique is that I’d like to see Bol work on his ball handling.

Paolo will get that 3P % up to 36-37% in a year or two yes? He’s kinda scaring me with his February shooting so far, think he’s like 1-25 from deep.

The Minister of Defense back at it!! Opposing offenses lose sleep knowing JI is back. He is incredibly disruptive!
Bol isn’t going to be and shouldn’t be dropped from the lineup, but his minutes will be up and down depending on how he’s playing.
FO are perfectly fine seeing just what he can become this year. We’re not going to go full out anti-development and playing Okeke over him all the time just so we can potentially get to the play-ins. We’ve seen quite a few amazing plays out of him when he’s on.. which then can turn into horrible turnovers, getting lost on defense, and shaky plays where you can’t trust him.
We definitely shouldn’t be in the business of dropping guys from the lineup entirely or else like 70% of this roster would’ve been benched for their stretches of play over this year.
