Honestly losing Grant against the Bucks is one of the bigger absences. I’m interested to see if Moose can do some of the same work Grant does, if Grant actually misses the game.
i remember last year we have a similar game against bucks, everyone is out And Sam Hauser getting minutes for first time, and knock down multiple threes that’s when i realize we have sniper on the team LOL. I guess results will be the same, hard fought lost. Last time we keep close all the way to 4th quarter, but giannis is Just too much.
How do teams ever win 65+ games? Do their players just never get hurt all year or what?
if tatum doesn’t play, 0 regular rotation players should, they should just punt the game, but it wouldn’t shock me at all if tatum gets upgraded tomorrow and ends up playing, he’s gotta love the idea of maybe beating the full strength bucks without 4-5 of the celtics regular rotation

After the injury report came out ESPN listed the Bucks as a 4 point favorite. About an hour later they took down the point spread. I don’t know what Sports Book they use but I wonder if they got some intel that the Bucks are considering doing something similar.

This seems like a very Spurs-y move. I remember Pop would rest his guys during these big national games and their bench units would still succeed against the other good teams.

I honestly think this is an excellent game to sit Tatum. He doesn’t get enough rest during ASB week because he’s an All Star. This game doesn’t prove anything at this point in the year, but will be physical AF if it’s competitive. Great day to roll the ball out there, and flip off the league for scheduling you against the Bucks on a b2b right before the ASB

I think this makes sense.
The Bucks are healthy and even before this report we were at least down Smart and JB and likely either Al or Rob since it’s a back to back.
The odds of beating a healthy bucks team with 2-3 starters out is very slim so why make Tatum go up against Giannis who is always plowing into people?
Just take the loss, see what your bench does against a real test and give Tatum and others some rest. I wish we did this more often, just punt some games and if we’re down multiple starters against a true contender.
