Celtics Buyout Candidates AFTER The 2023 NBA Trade Deadline Ft. Will Barton & Kevin Love



The Celtics didn’t make a whole lot of noise in last week’s NBA Trade Deadline, but they did bring in Mike Muscala in a trade with the Oklahoma City Thunder, and “Moose” has impressed early on with the Celtics. With Boston still having an open roster spot, could they sign a notable NBA buyout candidate? On today’s show, Will Scott takes a look at the top 5 buyout targets for the Celtics. Boston was a finalist for Danny Green, who was bought out by the Houston Rockets. However, Green decided to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers. With the Celtics being aggressive on Green, Will believes they will continue to try to fill that last roster spot.

    after listening to Brads comments on the matter, i dont think they are gonna do anything at all.

    Gaurds arent needed. There are already too many guards in the rotation and pritch barely get minutes as a careeer 40% shooter. I think just forwards to give the Jays Rest. Or a center so that way we would move Muscala to the Firward position and go big off the bench.

    I'm leaning Barton so that we can get more reinforcements for Tatum and Brown. I think we need to keep those minutes down as much as possible in the regular season…Even though Tatum is an Ironman

    Best defender is who I'd sign. Whoever if anyone that Brad signs isn't going to see much court time. You're really looking for a locker room guy that will take up garbage time. I'm not thrilled by any of these guys but if forced to pick someone I'd pick Barton.
