More likely than not kyrie stays in Dallas

Positive vibes on kyrie staying in Dallas from Woj this morning. Things change but so far it’s looking good, let’s keep hoping he loves it here and we win some games

I would be happy with that. With Luka AND Kyrie it’ll finally make us an attractive FA destination

I’m cool with it! With how hard it is to get bonafide super stars here in Dallas, we gotta take the risk imo.

the lakers are probably the only threat to taking Irving away but them trading for dlo puts the mavericks in a situation where they dont lose Irving for nothing. if Irving does want to go to Los Angeles he will not be able to get the money he wants so I think a sign and trade would need to go down. so worst case scenario the lakers and mavericks have a double sign and trade where dallas gets dlo and lakers get Irving. since both teams are under the cap I dont think the salaries would need to match. so Irving could get his 4 year 200 million and dlo could get something along the lines of 4 years 120 million.

    but I think Irving resigns

You hear that lebron? Your friend and your favorite player are teaming up, and we know you like superteams!

Dallas is really a great spot for Kyrie both financially and from a career/legacy perspective. The fan base loves him, Luka is giddy to have him, and the organization has proven to be committed to winning with Cuban’s financial backing. Can’t wait to see the Luka/Kyrie duo hit their full potential as the Mavs properly build this team around them.

Yea… Woj doesn’t know shit about the mavs and it’s not like Kyrie is leaking shit to him either.

Just… it’s Kyrie… stop getting hopes up or having any expectation of anything with him.

so far the mavs look like they’re willing to accommodate him which is a good thing

  8. Not gonna fool me again. Let me know in August.

I think he’s super tight with the front office too. Front office was the big issue with the Nets.

With the way he’s playing, I see no reason why the Mavs don’t offer him the max.

  10. Phoenix is the biggest threat imo. The positive of that is that we’d do a S/T and could mayhaps get Ayton in exchange.

I’d rather keep Kyrie though, obviously lmao

Good. He’s incredible to watch and the team will be unstoppable once Luka and him figure out how to play together and we add some better complementary pieces

The Mavs were also bought into keeping Dinwiddie as our PG but we saw how fast that changed when Kyrie became available. The idea that the Lakers wouldn’t go for Kyrie Bc they have D-lo now is ridiculous. I do hope he stays though.

If kyrie makes it into next season I may have to purchase a kyrie jersey

They need to stop using the word “stay” for Kyrie lol. He might sign a long term deal with us but that doesn’t mean stay for him because he leaves when he wants
