Portland Trail Blazers lose to Washington Wizards, lose Anfernee Simons to an ankle injury



It was a bad night for the Trail Blazers. They lost to the Washington Wizards in their final game before the All Star Break and Anfernee Simons sustained an ankle injury in the closing seconds of the third quarter.

It was a bad game that wrapped up the first half of the season on a sour note. It brings up the obvious question. Where should they go from here?

    Sad we can't have a dame ant shootout in the 3 point….but also dunk contest should have ja and sharpe next year. Bring it back. Give winner a million….lavine, Aaron Gordon….they gotta do it like that.

    I hear what your saying Mike and the logical side of my brain agrees. Having said that, historically in the Damian lillard era the blazers seem to come out like world beaters out of the all star break and Dame goes nutso. I don’t have stats to back this up but my eyes tell me that the blazers and dame go crazy in the final stretch every year. My money is on the blazers getting to like a 43 win mark by the end of the season

    So now that GM of are blazer's didn't get big forward center and I stop watching them boycott tell this team get serious Joe I font trust and we keep herring this summer there no big out there

    Time to experiment a lot now..
    1. Start Sharpe as a SG and play him 30 mpg
    2. Give Keon 20 mpg off the bench.
    3. Ramp up Badji from 10min to 20min a game.. we already know Nurk n eubanks ceiling n abilities..
    4. Split SF minutes between Reddish n Nas (i really think knox will be gone next year so there's no point to give him any minutes).
    5. Figure out whats the plan with Winslow are we keeping him (no space for him n thybulle as both cant shoot)
