Fleeced once again. Got the better player and some extra value on top
He’s been almost exactly what I hoped Barton would be for us
I’ve definitely been pleasantly surprised watching him since the trade! Seems to me like his fit/role in the lakers offense wasn’t doing him any favors
He can also defend, and that’s what many of us might forget (though he needs to be better at the team defensive end).
Fine, if you don’t score well in a game, you still have the other hand to compensate for something back!
He is going to be URFA at the end of this season, after years of struggling with injuries – that’s the only thing to be really worried about.
Lakers got Vanderbilt and now Rui is back to the bench getting 16 minutes a game. I don’t think he’s going to get much of an offer from LA this summer.
