C'mon Stephen A. It wasn't a matter of just RJ. They wanted to gut the roster of some of the teams most important defenders and take all of their 1st R picks on top. If you don't realize that they were trying to pillage the Knicks in the same way they had just completed a pillaging of Minnesota, we should be glad you're not in management. I'd say just be happy for once but you're not a true Knicks fan so that would be meaningless.
Whatever was the right move when it comes to Donavan Mitchell, it still shows the players that the Knicks organization wants to have big comradely with its players. The old Knicks management wouldâve already gutted the bench and gave several picks to get Mitchell. So no matter what the right decision is, Iâm still happy the Knicks front office is showering the care they have for the players. Gonna make more want to come and play at MSG
As much as that trade that didnât happen it hurt .. we still donât know what conversations took place behind the doors between Jazz and Knicks I personally thought Grimes was key and Knicks didnât want to give him up more so than RJ âŚanyway .. the plus side is the management showed loyalty to their drafted players and operating in a conservative way .. we can also say they didnât pull the trigger on KD and Kyree which now we know MANaGMENT saved us !!!! Steven a also criticized Knicks for that .. thank god they didnât make that move ! Steven A doesnât speak about the Knicks much on TV cuz most the time he gets emotional and over criticize them that he probably regrets later .. go look at the video weâre he wasnât too happy about us getting Brunson .. look at him now !!!
