Good on him, still a piece of shit tho

  2. Wow, thatā€™s actually a very nice bonus. I wonder who qualifies for it? Like just the corporate employees, or stadium maintenance workers, ushers, team staff, etc.?

Whoever gets it must be real hyped right now.

  3. pskill43

Good for the employees. 20000 is nice bonus.

Definitely apart of his agreement to gtfoh

“I’m giving a 20k bonus to this guy who already makes 280k a year”

Hopefully it’s starting from the bottom and working up cuz that 20k is a lot different to a janitor than it is to an executive.

I fucking hate rich people. They can act like complete shit stains then try to buy their way into a good reputation. The second worst part is the people who lap it up.

He’s like the serial killer in Seinfeld who was known as a generous tipper.

  8. BabaBrody

The catch? He gets to shove the $20,000 into your underwear.

  9. He just made $1.48B. Giving around $6m to employees and $5m to charity seems like a very inexpensive way to make himself feel better about the fact that all those employees hated him so much that they went to ESPN and got him booted. Glad he did it, but he’s s still a garbage person.

  10. This should really be standard when owners sell their teams for massive windfalls.

ā€œHundredsā€ but not all employees. Imagine seeing this and working for the suns and not getting an extra 20k. Ouch lol.

  12. josephseeed

Dude made like a 600% profit on the sale. Good to see him taking care of some employees

  13. TheOnionWatch

Why do the poor people also get less than some bogus charity.

  14. SweetDick_Willy

Somebody’s trying to get into heaven

How many of these employees are front office people making decent salaries and how many of them are hourly wage employees working the concession stands and doing security on game day?

Just shows you how easily rich people could change their employees lives without even really affecting their own bank account even a little and just flat out donā€™t.

  17. Classic Reddit. Guy does good thing, everyone shits on him anyway. Made a difference in hundreds of peoples lives to a degree most people here wonā€™t make in 1 or 2 lives.

Maybe he is a racist pos. Or maybe heā€™s just a human being who fucked up and people shouldnā€™t hate him like heā€™s Adolf Hitler, idk

  18. drockalexander

Ok, he might be a shit human and Iā€™m sure he can afford much more ā€” silver lining, he could have done nothing or way less than this. Props to his PR team. Iā€™m happy for all the employees! Hopefully itā€™s everyone and not a select few. My dads a janitor and if he received a payout like this, it would quite literally change his life for the better overnight.

  19. Glad he’s gone, now Phoenix can realize their problems weren’t a bad owner but because their city is a pimple on the ass crack of progress that has not, and will never contribute a single thing of value to society.
