I feel for Kd tho. Ik he made a bad move going to the warriors and an even worse one leaving GS. But he believed he could win with another franchise and kyrie was flaky most of his time in brooklyn (in games played) and Harden was out of shape/hurt for their one playoff run that came 2cm away from a conference finals (they would’ve won against ATL like Milwaukee) and possibly an nba finals run. Sucks bc he was the only star on his team who gave his all. He’ll get there again. I’m not a nets fan btw so no bias at all. Ik he has a bad reputation among nba fans but I do see the positives in his career despite the drama and hate thrown at him 24/7.
I Lived in Brooklyn All My Life Trust me it's not your fault the Nets didnt win. They hired a rookie no experience coach and thought that was enough to win a championship they also didnt make good trades to max the value in james harden and kyrie they failed KD.
And just like that, Super teams are Okay again, as long as K.D is a part of it. He will be adored if they do well. Stephen A and Skip will over promote him if the Suns do what they are capable of. Only certain players are allowed to play with marquee talent around them. K.D is one of them.
KD has always been my favorite. When he was with the Oklahoma Thunder I was a fan!!When he was in Golden State Warriors I was a fan!! When he was with the Brooklyn Nets I was a fan along with Kyrie Irving and James Harden. Those 3 were the best trio in NBA History!!! I will always be a fan of the Best TRIO in the World. Dude said he loved the grind, but played with kyrie, harden, and then ben simmons. Now after they all left and he gets a chance to be the only super star on the team and actually grind and lead them to the finals. He quits on them asks for a trade to the suns that have paul, booker, and ayton and were just in the nba finals 2 seasons ago, gtfo here he doesn’t love the grind he runs away from it
I'm not saying his emotion is fake, but it does seem a but disingenuous. A team paid you for a year to sit injured, you didn't hold the homies accountable for their actions, you asked for the coach/Gm to be fired and than when they made moves to construct a better team around, you asked out. But somehow you love the nets. I'm just saying the facts don't line up man.
I’m just gonna put this out there… if there’s anybody in the world of basketball that ever decides to criticize let alone ridicule this man, then they need to just shut the hell up because we will never see another player or person like him again. He has dealt with so much scrutiny and so much adversity, and at the end he always came out of it, a better person and player. I know that some people may think that his championships are unjustified because he won them with the Warriors however, whenever he played with them, he was by far the best player in the team.
