Jokic is first with Giannis right behind him, but he won't be able to catch him. Giannis: 32.5 ppg, 12.3 rb, 5.5 a, 0.8 steals, 0.8 blk, while shooting 54.0% from the field, 27.1% from 3 and 64.6% free throws. Jokic: 24.7 p, 11.5 r, 10.1 a, 1.3 steals, 0.7 blk, while shooting 63.2% from field, 39.1% 3pt and 82.2 ft%. Stats are similar because Giannis scores 8 more points, but has 5 less assists. The difference is Jokic is so MUCH more efficient. Giannis is better defensively, but Jokic has been a good defender this season. The people that say he plays no defence haven't watched one nuggets game all year. He is one of the league leaders in deflections, virtually averages the same number of blocks as Giannis, while being much better at stealing the ball. Jokic going back to back to back with a decent chance for a finals mvp this year.

Every time he's on the floor the game itself, and the other nine players on the floor, submit to his rhythm, pace, and will. Truly, no one that I can recall in the 40 years I've been an NBA fan have I seen another player command the game of basketball like Jokic. Maybe Bird. Maybe Magic. Maybe Oscar. Hoping Joker's savant-ness can translate into a Chip so he can receive the accolades he deserves.
