He has a really positive reputation league wide from teammates, but I was surprised to hear that because whenever I’ve seen him play up close he always seemed to respond really poorly when his shots weren’t falling or something didn’t go well. Like I mentioned to a friend months ago “watch his face after he misses a shot there’s a moment where he looks so mad.”
I always wrote it off as the typical out of touch fan thinking they “get” a player who they don’t actually know at all. But regardless, I wasn’t even a little surprised to hear this news. My initial reaction was “hmm that tracks”.
