  1. Dude they don't need that guy. Mo bamba is enough if they need another center that guy si not the ideal player for them, better to get kevin love or cousins

  2. Carmelo Anthony is who we need to get with the youngsters it should be a better chance for him.

  3. Use Scotty Pippen Jr. to help DS with defending small quick guards. If that doesn't work, go with Jay Huff for size backup.

  5. Lakers starters..Lebron/AD/Bamba/D-Lo and Reaves or Beasly
Second unit..Schroder/Hachi/Vander/Huff and Reaves or Beasly…and you still have Troy and Christie as backup.
    Definitely a playoff team!!!

  6. Bring Matt Ryan back for that extra deep shot threat from behind the arc. Not to mention he would be more than ecstatic to come back and be more than willing to play defense and give it is all for an actual roster spot and not a 10 day contract.

  7. I think if the Lakers believed that Huff was someone they should have signed, they would have signed him instead of trading for MO. If he was a better defender and scorer than they would not have had to trade Pat.

  8. With their last roster spot, they need to sign a defensive SG/SF. The Portland game showed that not every game your shots are going to fall and you need someone that can D up the perimeter.

  9. Jay Huff is better fit at rim and spaceing the floor get points and rebounds. Runs the floor shoots 3's and for a good price already playing in G league healthy ready to go

  10. I actually made a comment earlier today in which I said it looks like the Mavericks are letting Javalle Mcgee go in favor of Lemarcus Aldridge. If the Lakers are wanting to fill that roster spot. I would love to bring back McGee for another run. I actually suggested that we sign Jay Huff to the open roster spot when I commented about Mcgee's possible availability earlier Friday afternoon. Thanks but no thanks on Kevin Love!

  11. No way people are picking a G league player over a championship winning Pf who has chemistry with Lebron. Love shooting 40 % from 3 and he still get rebounds and has play off experience. Give me Kevin Love. Get huff in the off season. We want proven winners NOW

  12. Not really. Traditionally last spot is for a role player they have a deficit in on the roster 6 thru 9.they don't play that many players in the playoffs. And huff is really just a low impact insurance flyer u want to keep so other teams don't steal him. Let's not pretend they will hurt for a center in the playoffs as AD will be the defacto main 5 and that lakers arent deeper than most teams. They just ain't as top heavy as Bron is older and lost a step and AD is injury prone a slow starter off injuries.

Lakers have multiple good options 1 thru 5 and saying they NEED a player is disingenuous at best and ignorant at worst. Even wings they have Vando and Bron to spear head. If they don't sign a 15th player it would effect them ZERO IN 99% of the time.

  13. Huff for sure. Minutes are few and older non defensive player taking up minutes doesn't seem like a good idea.

  14. Kevin Love would be better because Lebron has a history with him and won a championship with him. Huff is a good choice to.

  15. Both Huff AND Love are mistakes. t
BIG mistakes that would cost the Lakers dearly. Far too many people are trying to wesr others down, trying to convince others that these guys are somehow good ideas.

    NOPE!

  16. A good signing. They should have sign huff then give swider and pippen playing time….. It's so exciting ….these guys can shoot and are young then the arrival of russell,Vanderbilt,Beasley… Even if Davis and James sits out the team now is ocmpetitive .
