Not a good move. JP doesn't shoot 3s with poor FT. NN's offense already not good and this doesn't help the floor spacing. I feel that if PA shoots better 3s then JP won't play much or at least not play down the stretch in a game.
Raps has to include the pick to get it done. Protectionis for safety only in case it all fails. One 1st-round pick was the price over thes Boston offer of Pritchard and Galo. I say better to have Jacob with us than Celtics. They already have Williams and Horford, we don't want them getting better. More competition for us.
With Nets most likely to drop in standings… both 5th and 6th spot are attainable.

We don't need him we need an entirely different core. This is just kicking the can down the road giving up a future for now is one of the dumbest decisions in franchise history and that says a lot. Guy is mediocre at best not work a late first round pick. What a shame.

The problem with the raptors front office is they always shop in the clearance bin and are expecting to find something on the market that is above and beyond in value and worth but at a discount. Just look at our trade record and free agent sigings historically. The biggest deals that changr the trajectory of he franchise was the deal that sent Rudy Gay to Sacramento and of course the deal to trade Demar for Kawhi. We don't attract top tier FA's, just role players. Webster and Ujiri should know by now that when you win a title the expectations change exponentially. We don't just want a that that competes because year in and out as fans we have title expectations. The team currently constructed isn't good enough to win. If we play to our ceiling we are a sixth seed or play in team at best.

he made a great trade, we have a bunch of assets rn so no point in heavily focusing on draft as of now as we can always flip many of the assets we have for high picks. also its not a rush to be a top tier playoff team like relax, our time will come again be patient till then. You dont need to be desperate and trade away our good assets for nothing, just for the sake of trading, you will end up like the nets and Knicks if u do that. Slowly build and work our way up is how this team works, if u want a team that does everything at 10x speed go be a fan of another team, dont forgot how long it took teh raps franchise to become even a consistent playoff team.

Everyone knows masaji does his work in the off season and I dont know why everyone is freaking the season is only half over and we are a couple games out of the playoffs. Every other team in the east got alot better. Its alot tougher to win now
