  1. Hmm. The fact that this is happening is kind of a deal breaker for me. If he is happy and excited and jazzed to get 10 minutes off the bench, and to get everyone water or whatever when he’s not out there, then I’m happy to have him. He probably makes the team better in that role. But if he thinks he can be the guy? Or even a guy? We don’t need that shit.

This is a fan account that paid for a blue check basing their information on other Twitter fan accounts

I feel like bringing this guy in is going to screw up the team chemistry we started to build in last 2 games with the new guys in

Im afraid about stuff like: 1) his big pride not allowing him to accept a minor role; 2) Ty Lue giving him a mook-like treatment, overplaying him even when hes playing badly; along with all the bunch of imperfections we already know his game has.

I’d rather bring back Pat Bev or nobody if Im asked.

  4. ruet_ahead

If there are “discussions” about what his role is going to be; it’s already not working.

  5. nepats523

I wouldnt put it past Ty either. These are dangerous times, please save us Chicago

  6. I hope he goes to Chicago. We don’t need him.

  7. Mann showed he’s better last night. Rotation is so tight right now I’m not even a Russ hater but we don’t need him.

  8. Baby_Yod4

Man since 2021 this has been the best chemistry I’ve seen in a clippers team. Plz don’t go fucking it up again.

  9. trancatt

    It’s not gonna work Ty…

He’s not gonna be satisfied with just 10 mins. He’s not gonna be happy for the team if they are playing well without him. He’s not going to be supportive when he’s benched.

He’s gonna pout. He’s gonna be pissed off. He’s going to be a distraction.

    I just don’t see any upside. I really don’t.

  10. UrDadsFave

When you see tweets like this, go to the person’s page they are quoting. You will find the person ain’t said shit about shit.

  11. Krnxoutlaw90

Russell Washedbrook needs to calm his tits if he thinks his 6 turnovers a game has any place getting big minutes on this team! His bro PG13 got the turnover department covered already!

  12. WB: Can I start?

    Team: No

WB: Can I play 25-30 mins a game?

    Team: No

    WB: 15-20?

    Team: No

    WB: …..

Mann balled out yesterday, but what I noticed from yesterday which has been true all season, we live and die by how well PG and Kawhi play. The reason we’re entertaining conversations about bringing in a ballhandling point guard is because we need to make sure these guys play well. Also, I think a lot of Mook’s struggles can be corrected with a primary ballhandler since he seems to thrive off of catch and shoot and not bad if he doesn’t have to dribble into his post-move. To sum it up, a true point guard is necessary to the consistency of the starting core (zu,pg,kawhi, mook).

  15. JimmyV034

You have every contender and western conference fans begging and praying for Westbrick to be a clippers and that should be enough for people to realize that these mfers are going sabotage team if they bring that brick here.

  16. Please do not bring him in. His ego is too big and it will mess everything up. Plus he can’t shoot or defend

  17. northyclippers

I’ll shit the bed of the axe Mann for that dude

  18. JimBthivo

Jeez F this guy man!🤡 please stay away from our team

  19. needatleast

Screw it, you can start. But you’re not seeing a minute after the 3rd quarter.

  20. think he’d be great on the bulls, looks great in red

  21. 2020IsANightmare

I actively dislike the Bulls, but I love and follow a lot of the NBA.

Chicago signing Westbrook may be the thing to finally make the realize that the entire roster has to be blown up. I could not believe the Bulls didn’t make big changes at the trade deadline. (They’ve lost six in a row and are hoping to hold off the 26-34 Pacers to get the 10th seed.)

And I know Lonzo has been out. Despite his father, I’ve rooted for the kid. He’s not an MVP player lol. The Bulls just have a poorly constructed roster.

  22. pbaagui1

Brick chucker and defensive liability, no thank you

  23. KennyBuckRogers

He will go to the bulls because they will start him there. He doesn’t give a fuck about winning a championship. His ego is as large as a Chinese Spy Balloon.

I just want to say that over the past two weeks or so, carefully chosen words like “vampire” and now, “complex” have been tossed out there, and NBA fans have jumped on them like wolves.

It was no more than three or four days ago that Shams claimed there was very little interest in Russell, and the very next day, four teams popped up with interest.

If Russell becomes a Clipper, if he doesn’t, it’s fine with me. But, if you all can easily see “his PR” with all of the feel good stories, why is there no skepticism with this barrage of him being on the brink of being out of the League?

Maybe he’s asking more questions than he did with LeBron and Anthony because he doesn’t want to go through that again. Maybe he wants to know for certain of what they want.

When Paul was in OKC, Russell took so many steps back, he and Carmelo had to pull him to the side and tell him to get it back together. They went to OKC to play with Russell, not play instead of him. It was after that conversation that they were able to relax a bit and Paul emerged as a MVP candidate before getting hurt.

He deferred to James. He deferred to Bradley. They both had great seasons playing alongside Russell, in fact, every superstar that he’s played with other than LeBron have had great and productive seasons playing with Russell.

Does he make mistakes? Yes, he does, most players do. But, the pressure that he puts on the defense helps to take pressure off his running mate. This is a man who has been a career shield for whoever he played with. No matter what that other guy did, the majority of blame will go to Russell.

He takes it on the chin every year from the media and opposing fans. The Lakers were the first time he had to take it on the chin, in his gut and a couple of kidney shots from his actual running mate. He was unprepared for that.

His “demands” could be nothing more than just pull me to the side and look me in the face and tell me what it is. For those of you that don’t know, he was making those kinds of “demands” with Kevin Durant.

He’s really in a no win situation right now. If he goes to Chicago or Washington, everyone will claim he’s only doing it to chase stats. If he goes to the Clippers or Miami and they still lose, everyone will say that he screwed up the chemistry of a 7th place team in Miami and a now 4th place team that could just as easily be 10th due to how tight the West is.

Does it make sense that all of that would be placed on him? No, but that’s what he’s looking at because that is what every media member is directing the narrative to be. If you never believed that the pen is mightier than the sword, look no further than sports journalism.

I hope y’all get the team that you want and can believe in.

  25. Worried-Ad-3948

Please chicago. Seal the deal already

  26. MichaelZZ01

Chicago coming in hot for the save. Please swoop him from us.

  27. Nicobade

If he has any disagreements about how he should be used, don’t sign him. Russ has the potential to be a high value scorer and playmaker off the bench in limited minutes, but the moment he gets ego about starting or worse yet closing games we are doomed.

  28. winston-mosquehill

I’m js, if there’s anyone I want guarding KD, it’s Russ. Might be worth saving for that matchup.

  29. dddddumb

they already said they viewed him as a starter

  30. IgnorantGenius

Russ will do well in the East. The West is so stacked right now it would make better sense for his career to go out to Chicago and ball out with Ball out.

  31. Inomiser

Come on clippers get this guy!! Y’all need him. He’ll make the basement even darker and colder than it already is down there!!

  32. fullclip7

L frank going through the motions to make sure pg thinks he made his best effort. Also at the same time making bulls fomo into signing Russ. Galaxy brain shit you love to see it.

  33. In other words, Clippers want him to come off the bench but Russ believes he’s still a triple double starter
