Random lol. Thought he would go to a contender.

Great signing. Miami are favorites in the East now in my book

  3. Do the Heat have the oldest team in the league?

  4. Preparing for the LeBron trade request this summer, smart!

Miami fans, how does he fit into your rotation? I haven’t been keeping up with the Heat much, besides Bam who I have on my fantasy team lol.

Heat were probably the only realistic playoff destination for him that’d offer him a decent amount of minutes. Dude’s shooting’s fell off since his injury, and he’s been a turnstile defender, but Heat need a bigger guy at the 4 bad and he can still rebound the rock

Happy for him. Bro bout to be living in a beautiful city

  8. Dude has gotten so bad at defense he’ll be basically unplayable in a playoff series, happy for him though

    That photoshop lmao

    He is fucking glowing

Were going to call this one “The choice”

He’s washed. There’s a reason why the Cavs took him out of their rotation.

Heat are instant favorites in the East now. Kevin Love will fit like a glove offensively next to Jimmy Buckets. He combines all the best aspects offensively of PJ Tucker, Kelly Olynyk, and Bulls Pau Gasol into one tight package.

Heat made the ECF last year, and the finals in 2020. A player the caliber of Kevin Love gets them where they need to be. Jimmy, Bam, Love and their depth and personnel is enough to win it all this year. Congrats Miami fans

The real winner here is Caleb Martin’s Knees

  15. Spo is a really good coach, so it’ll be interesting to see how he uses hm.

Strengths: Rebounds very well. Good basketball IQ. OUTLET PASSES. 3 point shooting -if- he can come back from the thumb injury.

Weaknesses: Slow, absolute turnstile on defense now. Can sometimes zone out if things are going bad – probably won’t be a issue in Miami though.

In the right lineup/matchups he can still make sense, just last year he was a 6MOY candidate. Thing is, in the regular season the defense isn’t as big of a deal, in the playoffs he’ll get targeted in his minutes in bad matchups. Hence Spo having to plan/work around that.

Every year people gas up vet guy buyouts, I’m not expecting much from Love

If he’s hot from 3, he’s on fire, lol. However, defense is probably the worst I’ve ever seen. His +/- was one of the worst in the league. He also has a lingering thumb injury that has severely messed up his shooting, which contributed to his buyout. Low Risk/High Reward, plus Spo is a good coach, so I’d 100% support my team picking him up if I were a Heat fan.

The Cavs are doing well. Why did they buy him out? I would have understood if they were struggling.

Best player to go from the Cavs to the Heat.

Kevin Love: “not one, not two, not three…”

He might possibly be the greatest player ever to leave the Cavs for the Heat!

Bill Simmons called this on his pod this past week and he was already getting salty about it saying Kevin Love is going to lose 15 lbs and look rejuvenated for a playoff run. I was kinda hoping the grizzlies could add him but we’ve got a super bloated rotation as it is. Still would have been nice to add another big with a half decent three point shot.

Leaving the 4th seed to go to the 5th or 6th seed is kinda weird, isn’t it…?

  23. Asphaltjungle33

For those wondering how bad Kevin’s been, the cavs played .500 basketball for all January. We took him out of the lineup and immediately won 7 straight games by a double digit margin.

Happy for his time here in Cleveland. That being said, Heat fans better be ready when opposing players constantly call for picks to switch onto him. He’s the worst defending big man in the league. Even having Mobley,Allen, and others we couldn’t hide him.
