Hey clan the spurs fan would you rather have victor or scoot?
One could only dream but I would love to get Victor something about him just reminds me of the great Tim Duncan.
Getting a Victor jersey as soon as we get him!
If any of these guys are drafted by Detroit or San Antonio they should be happy. Houston and Charlotte would make me feel like so they even know how to run a team?
I have more confidence in the Spurs being able to retain Scoot for his entire career rather than Wemby. Scoot is from Marrietta Georgia, and he doesn't come across as someone chasing fame away from basketball. It's easy to see Wemby having a career similar to Kareem, he can win a title in the city he's drafted in, and then pursue larger markets to win titles in.
It's just that Spurs organization don't know how deal with so-called African Americans. In city predominantly hispanic. And celebrates Hispanic culture. It's not even about popvich
They do good job keeping foreign players.
I know Victor is the once-in-a-generation talent, but dammit if Scoot isn't the most electrifying player I've seen in years. Westbrook with BBIQ and a jumper.
If we get Wemby or Scoot, we will have free agents that will want to come here. Winning attracts. There will always be those players that gravitate towards the big markets but the other side of the coin is there are players that do not like the big cities. That was the case with David Robinson and Tim Duncan.
Yeah, it’s like Arch Manning going to Texas. Those kinds of generational talents bring other great players to organizations (Um, Curry, Durant), and this brings attention and press, basically making a small-ish market more visible, more like a large market. With San Antonio pushing the brand to Austin and other places, the brand will only grow, making it more attractive to players like Wemby and Scoot.
Scoot Henderson would be great for the Spurs, but the Spurs should still aim for Victor Wembanyama. Saying Scoot Henderson will definitively come to the Spurs would mean that most likely one of the Rockets, Hornets, or Pistons would get Victor Wembanyama, and I do not know how Spurs fans, who really want Wembanyama, would feel about that.
Yea that narrative is stupid. LeBron wanted out of Cleveland and Miami, Durant wanted out of OKC, GS, Brooklyn. Harden wanted out of Houston and Brooklyn. Simmons wanted out of Philadelphia. Howard wanted out of LA. Davis wanted out of New Orleans. Shaq 'wanted' out from Orlando and LA. Kyrie wanted out of Cleveland, Boston, Brooklyn. Aldridge wanted out of Portland. Bosh, Leonard, Carter and McGrady wanted out of Toronto. Paul George wanted out of Indiana. Hayward left Utah. Etc
Stephen Jackson got in his feelings with the spurs. hurt people like to hurt people. he needs to forgive and forget in order to move forward
I been saying this…I know for a fact the Spurs will draft Scoot. I've been in cool places to know 🙂

LeBron gets new players and they instantly play well with each other the spurs system it take players a year to know the spurs play book. Too much thinking in the spurs system.
