I feel like we will be hanging and banging.

  2. just to be clear does this mean we have #2 “easiest” remaining schedule for regular season, or “hardest” ?

The pessimistic part of me feels bad.

The larger optimistic part of me says this is the perfect thing to get the team in gear and focus on playing high level ball.

Well the goal has always been a title and there’s no way you get there without going through tough teams.

At least we’ll know sooner than later if the team is capable of it.

I’m not sure what this SOS calculates but it doesn’t seem to pass the eye test.

Look at the lakers schedule: they play a loaded suns twice, a loaded mavericks twice, a loaded grizzles twice. And us.

New Orleans is one of our toughest opponents left?

  7. these things are so nuanced. Grizzlies have been trash for the last few weeks. So have the Knicks. Kings are falling off. Pelicans have been trashed. And nobody is scared of Kevin “the quitter” Durant.

Considering we’re an older team, the break will probably help us the most. LA just needs to stay healthy, Kawhi will lead us to victory along with our recent upgrades.

Still, PG needs to step up more than anyone, if not it’ll be really difficult to finish top 3 which this team is more than capable of.

  10. I don’t see the Celtics so it’s all winnable haha

I like this. We get rest while facing competition that will help us grow.

  12. SOS means nothing with the standings how they are.

Overall, the Clippers imo have a GREAT schedule to close out the season.

One thing that’s NOT factored into that SOS rank is the amount of home games as well as days off in between.

About 2/3 games are at home, so far less traveling and less strain on the older guys.

Only 1 road fully back-to-back (Sacramento and San Francisco). And only 2 others. We can afford to lose one against Orlando, and then win can Portland. The last back-to-back will be dependent on seeding gamesmanship.

We also get a bunch of 2 and 3 days off meaning time for more rest and practices to work on chemistry.
