Russell to LA, that’s going to be weird /s

Good. He’d be a terrible fit with Jimmy and Bam. Much rather go for Zeller

A lot of dubs in the span of 4 days

Might have been fun to see him in a Heat uni, but I don’t think he would have added much value. Laker fans seem to be thrilled he’s gone.

I think I’m in the minority who thinks Spo could have something up he’s sleeve for WB. We could use another scorer. Dipo isn’t gonna be always healthy.

Always seemed pretty likely that he’d want to stay in LA. Moving on

Would’ve been cool to have Westbrook in Miami but that’s 99.9% mainly because of his name recognition and nothing to do with his current play

    Oh well

I knew he wasn’t coming here but he would have helped. More than what Love and Cody will.

PG and Jimmy got a lot in common

Both bullied their franchises into trading for their washed Pg buddy that will sabotage their team 😔

I maintain that this would’ve been a huge get for our team (low-pressure media environment, he’s a transition threat, we’re a floor-raising team and he’s a floor-raising player on a team full of low-floor roleplayers, etc) but I really am happy he ended up with the Clippers instead.

The amount of community work and charity Russ does for Los Angeles is ridiculous and when the Lakers traded him, I felt bad about the fact that he’d given the actual city more than either Bron or AD (unless you value a championship over community outreach lol) and was being shipped to Utah. Of course, that’s the only way it could end (and he got traded because he was a problem, but because he does community work), but it doesn’t make it suck any less.

Now he’s on a team-friendly deal (so the expectation’s pretty low) in the same area (where he can continue his off-court work) on a team that fits him far better (he gets to reunite with PG!). Everyone wins.

  11. Cody Zeller will not help this team more than Westbrook would have. Idc what anybody says

They got Fun Guys over there but I very much prefer the Lover Boys over here

Good for him. He would’ve made our atrocious spacing even worse, made the defense worse, and taken the ball out of jimmy’s hands
