Was pretty obvious watching too, Kyrie esp tried his best to try and dish it around to guys, while team Giannis had 3 guys chuck 85% of their total team shots
Either way, all star game was hype for about 2 years then went back to what it’s been, a glorified shootout. The one 2 years ago was really fun though, wish they played with that level of intensity

I liked the part at the end where team Giannis only needed 3 pts to win and missed back 2 back half court shots to try to end it. That was *real* fun to watch

I’d have prefered Jo was in cryosleep but it’s good he was trying to make it more interesting I guess.
Jo wasn’t even involved in the last 2 minutes of the game. All he did was stand at the top of the key.
There was a point where he walked near Donovan Mitchell (who was mic’d up) and you could hear him shouting at everyone else “Come on, we gotta get some STOPS!”.
The rest of his teammates did not get any stops.
Idk why these players do the all star game I’d rather be with my family for 9 days screw that dumb accolade I’ll take a chance at a ring than some dumb event

No one was even bothering to do that much other than him and Kyrie. I’ll admit, Kyrie looked like he was trying to turn it into a game. This was just layup drills for everyone else. Edit: Actually that’s not true, Lebron was going at guys and had a block or two before he hurt his hand didn’t he?
I’m not saying this needs to be hard sweat defense, but I don’t know at least get in the way of a lane. Put a hand up to make the shot harder. Make it a mild challenge.
Letting Tatum get all those points was shameful. Dude is way overrated.
This ASG is an exaggeration of why I barely pay attention to the regular season anymore. Just start the playoffs already.
Everytime LeBron, Giannis, or Steph does something of this nature, the whole internet wets themselves. Anybody else, it’s the end of basketball.
We need a halftime one on ones. Winner gets points for the team. At this point this isn’t a real game anyway.
I hate the new format. They need to make a semi competitive game again with East vs West so bragging rights will be with the winning conference. They need something to play for.
