Awesome to see that this dude got a bag. Liking the idea of allowing G League players into all star weekend. Maybe even rookies and sophomores vs G League all stars down the line?

I like the g league all stars versus the rookies idea a lot. Especially with the Ignite squad or whatever its called that has the dudes who skipped college.

Those dudes would all have a reason to show out and play to showcase their real basketball skills.

Craig Hodges entered the 3 point contest in a genetic uniform at least once.

Even with McClung I think the Dunk Contest struggled. Opening it up to G League players, Ignite players etc. would be cool. I’d go even further and open it up to dunking professionals that are all over YouTube. Guys specifically brought in for their ability to do awesome dunks. That would be a cool way to A. capture younger fans, B. bring some energy back to the dunk contest and C. maybe entice the superstars to take show some pride and compete and not let no-names upstage them.

Somethin has to replace that trash ass no “D” all-star game

I don’t enjoy the NBA all star weekend and I would enjoy the G Leaguers even less

They already had a g-league team in the rising stars tournament thing they did friday night. McClung did well in it.

I honestly thought it would pay more that’s not an outrageous amount of money

  8. Personally I would prefer to also get rid of the captains as well. Bring back East vs west. And make the players actually care about the game by giving hone court in the finals to the winning conference. It’s the one thing that the mlb actually gets right

He’s immortalized. Even if he never plays another minute in NBA, he will forever be remembered. Surreal.
