The only thing about the signing is does Russ start or come off the bench ?? Iād much rather see him start , and Bones and Gordon come off the bench to give them instant offense.
He's a bad fit for the LAC …he's not a traditional PG that will set plays for Kawhi and PG13…..WB can't shoot or even do off ball movement. I don't know what he brings to the table for the LAC….if this is an experiment that they are willing to risk. It better be worth kt

i don't like this move for the clippers (russ). i don't get it. they don't need him. it's a deep team that has a very clunky offense and a lot of one on one with george and leonard. russ will just add to the confussion. that said, i'd still like to see this team beat the warriors in the playoffs.

Bones will disappear in the playoffs. Hes good but he's not consistent enough for playoffs ball. Gordon will have the most impact from the bench that got added

Lakers, clippers, mavericks, and suns are all legit contenders it really comes down to who stays healthy
It was only ever unrealisitc to have him as a laker if lebron is 38 having the highest usage ratings and shot attempts of his career and yall just sit back and act like that's a sacrifice and better for the team..Russ was there to take the load off but i guess that scoring record became priority
Letās be realistic. Russ is best as the head of the snake. Heās not skilled/efficient enough to alter his game or blend in as a 3rd or 4th option. Barely as a 2nd option. For Russ to shine he has to have the ball in his hands most the time and Kawhi n PG n the rest are going to have to play off him. Russ teams havenāt proven to be CHAMPIONSHIP caliber with the ball mostly in his hands. Itās even worse now because he is past his prime
So the league is really gonna treat melo like this again and just kick him out and make him retire but bums like westbrick get to stay in the league?
It would be great if the Clippers end up fighting the Lakers at some stage of this, and Russ gives them the win. And i am not a westbrook fan, but the Lakers acted horribly in every stage of this!
Terrible signing!!! Westbrick ruined OKC, ruined Houston, ruined LAL and is going to do the same to LAC. Westbrook is only good for teams w/o expectations.
i not sure how russ going be any better than john wall or reggie jackson tbh. teams in the playoffs are going to dare him to hit the midrange. that's what happen when he was on the rockets. they blocked the paint and stayed to the shooters. they dared Russ to shoot.
JJ stated that Russ is not surround by shooters? By who the Clippers? Then, who is Kawhi, P.G. 13, Batum, Terrence Man etc?
