  1. The Rockets are hard to out tank, remembered those games where they were up 3~5 in less than 30 seconds, and screwed it up. It's almost as if they are doing
that deliberately, if Pop is just trying to put a weird line-up, then the Rockets basically just told the players to lose the ball in crunch time.😅

Although I think there is still 1~2 win in us, I want to lose those 2 against the Rockets
just to fuck with their "momentum".Pop is not letting this team break his longest losing streak that's what I'm saying.

  2. We will see on Wemby. I know the lottery rules have changed over the years but the Spurs have a great record in previous NBA lotteries when there is a generationally talented big man in the draft. Think Robinson and Duncan. Everyone thought Robinson would wind up with the Knicks who had the same odds. The rumour at the time was that David could sit out for 2 yrs because of his Navy commitment and then sign with a big market team. The Spurs won out over the Celtics in '97. I definitely remember Rick Pitino was crying over that one as it was his first season in Boston. Every year the Spurs have had the number one overall pick, there has been 1 player who was head and shoulders.. no pun intended.. above every other player in that draft. Think positive!

  3. No offense Clan. The Spurs aren't losing 35+ games in a row. There is zero way. Pop will let them win soon enough. We really just need to care about losing to the Rockets when we face them twice this year. We lose those games we golden

  4. A ton of our players are so young, I think defense takes a few years to get really good at even if you are really good at it. Kawhi and DJ even took a while to get really good. Offense in the NBA is easier and frankly there isn't that serious of defense until the playoffs. So the youth is going to hurt defensively near term

  5. Clan, thanks for the mention, and for being a good sport! Love the channel! I think the Spurs win three more games, (but still finish bottom three), not because they’re good enough, but because of human nature. 1) They’ll catch someone on an off night 2) They’ll jell one night, buck the trend, and play an inspired fourth quarter against an unsuspecting/ripe superior team. 3) An opponent with everything to lose folds one night, because of the pressure to win against a young Spurs team playing loose, with nothing to lose.

If I had a guess, they’ll win once in three games against the Jazz, or once against Houston. The Spurs players are desperate right now to end their losing streak.

They’re liable to catch one of Atlanta, Golden State or Memphis not taking them seriously enough, late in a game. We’ll be their “Gotcha” game.

Portland looks like they might be fighting the Lakers and Utah for the final play-in spot. They’re not always the most cohesive team under pressure.

Charlotte owns the tie-breaker with us and already has 17 wins. So, no harm comes to them even if they do win three games. Good for morale too.

  6. Still trying to figure out where all the Brian Wright haters went????? Dude has done nothing but give us young talent & double digit 1st Round Picks for the next couple years.
