Can we sign Hassan Whiteside by offering new trash cans?

I count 3 ex Blazers. I’d welcome 2 of them back but only because I like them, I do not think they would help us.
That’s not a terrible team (ahem, 10 years ago), I say sign them all and open a new franchise in Seattle with this roster.

We should be looking at g league point guards instead of vets tbh. There’s gotta be a prospect more interesting than Ryan Alphabet. We can sign one of ‘em, cut Ryan, and still stay below the tax.
Barton seems to be the best option since were down to Dame and Sharpe as our only rotational guards.
Aldridge never got farther with the Spurs than the Blazers. Cosmic something.
Portland won’t sign any of them.
I wouldn’t be surprise if Dame is sending signals to Joe to woo Will Barton.
I know Barton is sorta washed but we could use someone with his skillset because if Winslow isn’t healthy yet we have no ballhandlers besides Dame

Tyler Johnson, on paper, looks like a good fit. A secondary ball handler, good passer, decent shooter from range. Tweener on defense but maybe that would look okay next to the better size we have on the wing with Cam and Tisse now.
We should sign LaMarcus. He prob won’t do shit for us, but he’ll be good in the locker room. He should have given us the respect of doing a sign and trade, but I still have love for him. LaMarcus should retire a Blazer. He’s pretty high in a lot of Blazer all time stats. All the LA hate is unwarranted. Y’all need to chill the fuck out.
