  1. My main concern with him is that his play style may lead him into more injuries. Simply put his athletic ability may actually end up being dangerous to the longevity of his career. At the end of the day nobody really knows because there is never really been anyone like Victor and I still think it’s worth a shot. Now, if getting the number one draft pick eliminated you from future lottery picks for say, the next two seasons. I would have some hesitation, but since there is nothing like that, there is no real downside to taking the chance.

  2. Whoever lands the 1st draft pick will have to choose Wemby. However, the NBA is a long 82 gm season, and if you include the playoffs he could be playing as much as 110 gms nonstop. This takes a toll on the leg joints. Any NBA player can endure injuries, but 7 ft'rs tend to be more injury prone.

  3. Great Stream CLAN, get 7'5,we have nothing to lose
    ⚫️⚪️⚫️ 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆I rest my Case

  4. Y’all should watch the vid Sports Illustrated put out on him recently. He has a physical therapist that works with him 2 hours a day. I think he’ll be fine if he stays disciplined and strong minded.

  5. I think it’s a valid concern to have, but as an organization you just have to accept that risk and understand it could be a big swing and a miss. However, his potential upside is too high to pass up.

  6. It’s obviously still worth the risk, but we can’t just ignore that he does have an injury history already. He missed more than half of his games and the entire playoffs in 2022.

  7. The man already have an injury history. Just like zion injury history before he got drafted

  8. I do not think it is a problem. In fact, Victor Wembanyama's height makes him more unique as a prospect considering what he is doing at that height. Also, he has not gotten injured once this ongoing pro season in France, which should alleviate some of the injury concerns surrounding Victor Wembanyama.

  9. He's built different, the way he moves is unlike anything we've seen, I'd take wemby over Scoot. But if the spurs get Scoot it's not a bad choice regardless #1 or #2 Lets Go! GSG!!!!

  10. Sigh, did ANY of those players lead a team to an NBA Championship? Other than Yao, were any of them the best player on their team?? I pray we get the 2nd pick and have Scoot lead us to the promise land!!

  11. I clicked the link…

I might be buying some of the fire merch soon. Love watching your videos clan the spurs fan

  12. The biggest difference between all those mentioned and any of that height really, is that Victor is gonna be high usuage. You bring up KD. KD hasnt been the healthiest either. He can last a long time but he'll have his injury issues. Im still not sold on him either way. I think, ifnhe lasts, its gonna take him 3/4 years to be a true franchise guy and lead teams to wins.

  13. I think I know the exact video where you kinda stopped plugging your merch (as hard as u used to). I read that comment that roasted you for promoting yourself every video and thought I hope it doesn't turn you off from you promoting yourself too much 😂. I respect the hustle, but too much in either direction isn't a good thing.

  14. How can you predict he will be absolutely fine before he even set foot in NBA?
Yao Ming, a great player, injuries killed his career.KP, a unicorn, played less than
400(387)games in 9 years of his career. That's actually 43 games a season on average, so basically half. Or how about Chet, who ended his rookie year before the season started?

  15. Body type closest to Vic is Shawn Bradley. He played during the true center era. Being that this era is so much more offensive friendly. I think he'll be fine

  16. People just like to complain. I have no problem with you asking for support and pushing your merchandise. It is your channel. You don't spend a lot of time on it. People just need to build a bridge and get over it.

  17. I have no opinion on this guy. I think Spurs should do what is best for the team. No one can predict the future.

  18. not worth the risk imo, this generational talent is not the longevity talent we think it will pan out to be. I want to be proven wrong.

  19. I am so sorry Clan, I clicked the link. I tried but I just could not stop myself. I keep telling myself not to buy another tee this upcoming payday. I do think I am going to let myself down and purchase another one. 🤣
I think the Spurs will use Wemby the right way if they draft him. Pop is good at keeping his players fresh. I do not think he will let him get abused physically under the hoop. He is too much of a talent to pass up. I do not think he will always be a 5. I think he will play the 4 and in some lineups he could possibly be a wing. I think Pop will have fun with his versatility and you will see him and Sochan at various positions on the court driving other teams crazy.

  20. Potential generational front court Guard/Wing if paired with an elite ball handler/3&D guy. Ability to nail jump shots over opponens seems his biggest strength. Strength a potential weakness at the 4or5, hand and foot speed a potential liability at the 1-3 spot.Deserved favourite for the 1st pick nonetheless
