shit is so sick 😭😭😭 no wonder we’re in this position. players weren’t listening to nate, and nate didn’t want to coach anymore and ressler kept his ass THIS long???? that is so dumb

and remember shams broke it that nate eanted to resign and nate and jamelle were calling bs??? 😭

  2. I wonder if they made Nate come back from vacation to fire him. Like, if you’re going to fire me and I’m on a beach in the Caribbean just fire me over the phone so I can stay on the beach and get drunk (and celebrate? Lol).

    Fucking reseller. Dude fucking sucks

Imagine being a player on any sports team and having a coach that is literally begging to quit… good riddance. There was nothing for the players to buy into and if you watched the games it’s pretty obvious in hindsight that he was phoning it in.

Let me just make sure I understand this correctly:

    – If I rememeber correctly, Nate wasn’t 100% on board being the Head Coach but LP got fired, made an ECF run and Hawks made him an offer

    – Hawks go into the season with a coach that is not completely on board and players not listening (who really is going to listen when the supposed leader isn’t really committed)

    – Bounced in the 1st round

    – Disappointing season

    – Some Trae and Nate issues arise, Nate considered resigning

    – Still dragged Nate more than half a season for whatever reason

    – Fired with less than half a season left

The hell is the owners doing?!

There is nothing worse in sports than a cheap, meddling owner who isn’t very familiar with the sport. I’m very concerned there are dark, dark days ahead.

We had a coach who didn’t want to be there and players who (seemingly) didn’t want him there yet we stood there twiddling our fucking thumbs as an organization?

    *’kay*

I can’t be the only one that thinks this headline makes no sense, right? So Shams is reporting on something that he’ll be told in the future? Because that’s how the headline reads lol.

We really kept a coach who 1) didn’t wanna coach again in the first place , 2) thought about retiring himself & 3) thought about stepping down again but we begged him to stay just to be cheap & wonder why we are in this situation.

“You can’t quit I’m firing you”

That interview when Trae went off on the reporter is starting to make more sense. They were playing for a coach who didn’t wanna be there, I’d be pissed too. This franchise is a mess bruh lmao.

  12. I hate that we took an action this late, especially after losing to the fucking knickerbockers

  13. franchise is clueless under Ressler. we are a laughingstock.

Nate wasn’t the right man for the job but the way he was treated by ownership is disgusting and disrespectful

I will have my arms crossed next game as a tribute to Nate

Anybody see the hero ball episode where lebron gives trae the “coach killer” dagger then a few days later Nate gets fired 😂 kinda poetic
