Maybe, Kevin Love is just an entitled prick?

  2. Earl_Swish

this quote is from the godfather duh. Kev’s favorite movie

  3. pointgod1030

This was what he meant when he said “more to come later” lol

  4. sallright

Remember when players used to take out a full page ad in the newspaper and then move on?

  5. Not_HalfBad

This guy posting like a high school girl after a break up

  6. Maybe he feels slighted by the FO in some way. Regardless, I personally don’t care. The players all seem to wish Kev well, and our current locker room did seem to like him.

  7. GGTRituals

Kevin looking hella immature rn … why stir the pot like this and be so vague

    “Injuries earned,
    Minutes burned,
    Get traded & spurned”

  8. Heavy_Morning_4111

I love the dude but the team gave him 120 mill for him to be hurt half the duration of the contract. They did right by him by buying him out letting him choose his next destination instead of using his contract as a trade piece and he’s still unhappy with the FO…

  9. ivigilanteee

and people called this dude the leader and thought he was valuable to the locker room lol.

  10. Don’t let this cryptic message on IG fool you from the truth that Kevin Love is a purported CIA operative. His uncle Brian Wilson, member of The Beach Boys was a known associate of Charles Manson whom had deep ties into the project MKUltra. It’s all there guys, no wonder Kyrie got so sketched near the end of his time in CLE 🧐🤨🤔

Lmao at all the mental gymnastics people were performing to try and interpret his post of the “Godfather betrayal scene” as some vague reference to a flight to a Miami.

K Love 100% felt betrayed by someone inside of the Cavs org. It’ll come out eventually.

My guess is that someone was publicly very friendly to Love, but privately pointing out via tape and +/- metrics that Love was killing our defensive rotations.

Love probably learned about this, felt betrayed, and is going on his 😤 campaign.

Love was overrated last year, bad media and fans overhyped his regular season performance and didn’t note two important and related things:..

His performance tailed off towards the end of the year.

And you have to analyze players with playoffs strategy in mind, instead of react to regular season play, and in the playoffs Love gets run off the court by SFs, they match up better with him on defense than he matches up with them on defense, and this is the magic of small ball on a nutshell but even prime Love was particularly poor suited for it. He offered nothing vs Hawks in the playin game because they understand the basics of playing with skill and speed instead of size, and playoffs strategy is a lot different than regular season.

As others are saying, that is lame if he couldn’t leave with grace after being paid after he was an overrated role player during our championship run.

My hunch is cavs simply told him they couldn’t pay him much, if anything next year, due to our cap situation.

  13. notatowel420

He gonna work himself up into another panic attack

  14. Zevy100

Dude has always been a bum. Should have dumped him as soon as Lebron left.

  15. brangor

Don’t blame him at all tbh. He’s been a consumate pro his entire time here even though we sucked asa after Lebron. Last year was our first good year and he was a huge part of it, coming in 2nd in 6MOTY.

He played well to start the season and injured his thumb, and all of the sudden he’s cut from the rotation instead of being eased back into it? For what? So we can give Mike Muscala 2.0 his minutes?

I would hate for us to play Miami in the 1st rd. Love is a perfect fit for them and we already matchup like shit against them, not to mention the playoff experience difference.

  16. TheToughestHang

I really do like the guy a lot, but he controls his emotions the way college girls control their booze.

What more could anyone in the organization done? He wasn’t getting minutes bc he wasn’t needed for his role anymore. He was being paid ridiculously for posthumous success with players who were no longer on the team.

He is a storied franchise player acting like they screwed him on the way out the door. Cleveland’s FO did this right, sorry we don’t all give af about your subtweet bullshit Kev.

  17. douggoodie420

This is a Drake song. So he’s actually telling us that after this season in Miami, he will sign a new contract with Toronto. Can’t believe people think this is Cleveland shade again, smh.

  18. thewabberjocky

I love love but any playoff revenge will go as well as it did for Andy on the Warriors

If Love was still a productive member of the Cavaliers when they bought him out I would care a lot more about all of this vague drama. He wasn’t good anymore and they benched him. To me that’s the sign of a FO that values winning.

  21. Small_Pirate5196

Bro has sucked since lebron left and he still got paid

  22. Recent-Dig-5085

I wanted to root for him to do well on another team all the way up until he decided to stay in the east, he just Lebroned us with miami again. But we have the better team in this case.

  23. CavsBuckeyes

Apparently an unpopular opinion in this thread, but at this point Kevin Love can say, do, post anything he wants about the Cavs and the organization. He’s under no obligation to handle being benched and subsequently bought out “well.” When he was still a member of the Cavs he didn’t complain, didn’t post, and didn’t speak out against his being benched. He quietly asked for a buyout and the team accepted. That’s all you can ask for in this kind of situation.

At this point he is Miami’s issue and not the Cavs. I don’t understand all of these comments about him “handling this poorly” or how he’s a baby, or done wrong to the Cavs. He’s not employed by them anymore and owes them nothing, same as the Cavs owe him now.

I also just don’t see how people can think he should have just taken it in stride and stayed with the team. He tried to play through an injury, was bad, got benched because of it, and had no opportunity to heal and prove it was the injury that held him back. I would want to leave as well under those circumstances. Cavs didn’t want him. He obviously still wanted to be on the Cavs, but not in “has no playing time at all” role. All things considered a couple of vague social media posts are much ado about nothing given what happened.

downvote me all you like, I’m gonna miss him. And I’m sad he left to an eastern team. We are very likely to play against Heat this off season.
