This Charlotte game when Bron and AD were out showed that Russ wasn’t totally washed, but clearly didn’t mesh well with the rest of the team. He went nuts in that game.

Of course, we still didn’t win, which probably summed up Russ’s time on the Lakers.

This game was insane. He couldn’t miss from 3. Last time we saw a glimpse of prime russ.

He’s gonna start balling, now that he’s with the clippers. 🙄

Russ needs to be the primary ball handler which presents an issue with most of the team’s he’s played for…

  5. Biggest issue of having him play on the team was he needs the balls to be good. His time with Harden in Houston he was PG, in Was with Beal, etc. unfortunately it didn’t workout with us but that’s bc he wasn’t really a primary ball handler even off the bench

  6. I mean counting stats weren’t really the problem with Westrbook, people act like he couldn’t get a bucket.

The problems were always depth and efficiency, in that order. The main thing that sucked about Russ was losing 4 rotation guys, the next thing that sucked is yeah, he’s inefficient. The issue was never counting stats though, and occasionally he would go off.

Conversely, the best thing about trading him was replenishing the depth that was lost when we traded for him.

Even if he’s great with LAC he didn’t work with us, remember this.

  8. This is irrelevant but wanted to mention this, when Kobe got hot, there is no one that got hot like him in history of this game. RIP bean, still find myself in disbelief.

The NBA is manipulating their fanbase. Everything is ok though.

I’m so tired of hearing about this mistake

Was this the game he hit 2 clutch threes and then missed the third and most important one? That was hype and we were so close too

    Not surprised.

Russ is the dude in the bowling alley who throws the ball hard as fuck and either gets a strike or gutter ball.

Not that weird to me. It’s only 7 years and he’s a guy that loves to take shots. He’s bound to have a good game at some point

You cant deny he had some great moments here

Guys I been an atheist all my life.

Now that Westbrick got traded I’m a believer! God bless everyone!

that’s why you always ask for the **WHOLE STORY**, not just the headline:

    >After a dismal first half in which **he only scored five points and was a minus-27 in the box score**, Westbrook exploded for 30 points in the second half to bring the Lakers within striking distance in an eventual 117-114 **loss to the Hornets**.

    no doubt russ is a walking triple-double — 10pts, 10ast, **but also** 10 turnovers

so good luck to the clippers, ’cause they’ll realize how mercurial Russ is when they falter in the first round **AGAIN**

He is gon get over it we have more important things to think about like trying to make the playoffs

I really wanted it to work out for Russ on the Lakers, specifically because he’s an L.A. native and it would have been dope for him to win a championship with us. Oh well, it is what is, still wish him the best.
