There are only 24 games left in the Nets season and what a crazy season it’s been.     These final 24 games are a chance for Brooklyn to build more team chemistry, allow Dorian Finney Smith Mikal Bridges and cam Johnson opportunities to further incorporate themselves not just into the defense but offensive schemes and allow Spencer dinwiddie to take on more leadership as a facilitator.

    But it will also allow Brooklyn to evaluate their veteran talent including Ben Simmons to see where their futures go beyond this season.

    Lastly it's to play fun competitive skilled basketball and keep revitalizing the culture in Brooklyn.

    One key though is nic Claxton and especially Ben Simmons need to get more involved in the offense. Claxton has played a lot of minutes and looked a little gassed in the last few games. Hopefully the break allowed him to rest up and get ready for this second half. Claxton has showed some strong iso offense and needs to tap into that more. Ben Simmons meanwhile needs to not only make more assists but he needs to open himself up for some dunk attempts and just using his speed to get to the rim.

    If both of these players can contribute more on offense it allows for even more team style basketball and for the Nets to operate on another level.

    I know it is a good team, but I would be partial towards focusing slightly more on finding a way to make Simmons work and giving Claxton more midrange shots to develop a comfort with taking that for the future even if he sucks at it. Should be able to win enough to make a playoffs even doing that

    Imagine if we could add jaelyn brown and another big man ( porzingis ) with this group ! That turns us into immediate championship contenders
