  1. Dame is just money…….to shoot the shot from half court and have it drop thru the hoop like a cannon ball people were in awe of that really…..when your peers are shakin their heads you know they know they cant do that…..good for him and to hit the game winner and tap out and everyone tapping their wrist…..they know how good he is

  2. I’m a big Watford believer as well! I think he’s a starter in this league when he gets to his mid to late 20’s

  3. Great we wasted another year, Cronin has proven to be more like Neil Olshey than someone different. The GPII trade backfired and that hurt us. At the beginning of the season we needed depth at the 3, I don't know why Cronin didn't address that. We could have traded the 46th pick for someone like Kenrich Williams or Lamar Stevens. It's unfortunate Olivier Sarr got injured but we should have waited for him to recover not cut him. Having a backup center we can play Drew Eubanks at the 4. Those were the two issues that needed to be addressed in the beginning of the season, having a back up center and a legit small forward, and Cronin didn't address that. That is why the roster is imbalanced and the injuries hurt us too.

    Now we have a log jam at the 3 with Reddish, Thybulle, Nas, and Sharpe, although Sharpe can also play shooting guard. The Blazers still don't have a back up center and they are lacking depth at guard with Josh Hart and GPII gone. Those are the two main issues that need to be addressed in the off-season. Who Cronin wants to get, hopefully he doesn't fuck things up.

  4. Really hoping that cam shocks everyone……he definitely has size and skill……i think he has finishing touch aeound the rim

  5. By the way i also think cronin and these trades have been great…….you have to be willing to make moves to setup the future…..theyre able to take a sho because he was willing to take the heat for those moves

  6. Glad u guys talk'd about Trendon… I said on several videos, This Guy NEEDS To Be Running PT FWD (like luka or giannis) A LOT More!!! He makes things happen & looks rly good in that spot & Play Dame & Ant & others 'off ball & force defenses to have to "find them"!!! ; )
    Dame & Ant & even Grant 'wide' open, is dangerous for other teams,.. ;
    and Watford & Noz can also hit open 3's at a pretty steady rate!!! ;

    Just DAMN IT PLZZZ Go Get A Backup CENTER For Depth in the paint
    and we Can WIN a lot more games!!! ;
    DANNY PLZ talk to these people to go GET an open market BIG for the love of all that's
    good & holy…… ; )

  7. I think Portland has a chance to make a splash this summer, but at this point in my Blazers fandom, I gotta see it first before I believe it.

    Part of that is because of Neil Olshey, so I don’t necessarily blame Cronin, but he’s gotta prove himself still.

  8. I’m kinda glad sharpe didn’t do the dunk contest. Set up mcclung vs sharpe next dunk contest! I’ll watch that

  9. When you talked about how good Dame is to deal with, I’m reminded of Portland beat writers that had to deal with Rasheed’s antics. “Just CTC”

  10. If it’s the #1 pick we gotta keep it… NBA ready, perfect fit with our current roster, and after reading the Givony/Windy article he seems like he has a lot of Dame’s loyalty and basketball purity (as do a lot of international stars who just wanna hoop and are happy with wherever they end up).

    If we get #2 (as I did in my morning tankathon sim of the day just now)… VERY interesting. With all the talk about the possibility of trading Ant this summer as it stands now, in this scenario we’d absolutely need to choose between them and I have a hard time seeing us turning down Scoot. Long-term Dame replacement alongside Shaedon, ball handler off the bench in the near-term while having possibly the greatest mentor he could ask for, and we’d get a generational haul for Simons and future picks.

    TLDR: I think we’d use the pick either way and build our future around that person and Shae, and then see what we can get in return for our future picks and guys currently on the roster to win now. In any case, definitely a scenario we can only hope will present itself

  11. I understand you staying positive, but I’ve heard this before, “just wait until the summer” it’s too many hypotheticals, I’ll believe they want to get another superstar, when it happens

  12. The team could likely be better without Ant. The starters are worse +/- wise with ant in the lineup.

  13. Enjoyed the stream. One request, sometime soon I'd like to hear a deep dive on Nurk. The good, the bad, and the ugly. Sometimes his screens and passes with Dame are fantastic, other times he's soft around the rim and just disappears. Then he can bounce back and put up 20 and 10. Then another game he gets in foul trouble and is a non-factor. He seems really focused on his 3 point shot, but shouldn't the biggest guy on a small team be focused on rebounding and pounding at the rim? Doesn't Chauncy want him to quit shooting threes and start DUNKING and REBOUNDING with AUTHORITY!!! What gives? Am I off here? Am I the only one thinking this way? Look forward to hearing your take. – Rip City Joe

  14. Can Brandon do the Jacked Ramsay After Dark? While you are away. See how he does 👍

  15. I really really liked how you guys framed Dame and his character today. That was really wonderful. It was a great description on what Honor looks like.

  16. I love that Danny has gone full tank and realized it’s the only way. Neil left us so deficit that there is no way to can grow organically into a contender without something significant like that happening. It’s a no brainer at this point. We’d be stupid not to stealth tank. This is the way.
