    I’m more neutral to the Miller stuff but it seems like he won’t get charged at all since that wasn’t his gun. But it’s a totally bad look for him regarding the situation but he did responded well last night I will give him credit for that.

    For now we just got to see what happens regarding that.

    As for the rockets they should have been fired Slias. But we know they aren’t pro active they are reactive. So Slias is going to get the boot after the season and the rockets will be behind the ball in the head coaching search

    Silas will stay till the end of this season. I don't think any coaches will come right now to ruin their resume.

    For everyone saying he wasn’t charged. Neither was Karl Malone. And look at how awkward that all turned out. Regardless of the Finals appearance and MVPs. Hard pass on Brandon Miller.

    I've decided that Daryl Morey dominated the franchise over the past decade that it left a vacuum of a particular kind of employee in the Rockets organization. Stone is inheriting an organization that needs some strong personalities. Hopefully Stone(or ownership) recognizes this and hires a coach that can handle the "entertainment" side of things and be a good x's and o's coach. I think you are right in reading between the lines that Silas is gone. Something makes me believe the rockets intended to be a bit better than this but then pivoted and decided to go for Wemby. For a while I thought this was all one long range plan that they were sticking to no matter what but now I think there is a lot of indecision behind the scenes. I have no proof of any of this – its just a feeling. Whatever the truth is we could use a strong minded head coach that isn''t the domineering type. I am going to continue arguing for VanGundy. I think he was in the running when they hired Silas – maybe he is still interested.

    All these shootings… we have to have these teary segments on Sportscenter because Tom Izzo is bawling on the sidelines because some psycho went on a killing spree on campus. A reporter goes to cover a story of a shooting down in Alabama… and HE ALONG WITH a 9-year old get shot and killed there! The next day Alabama republicans named the AR-15 "the national gun of America!"

    It's clear that this country doesn't give a F*** about gun violence/murder/massacres… so why in the world would it affect someone's draft stock?

    I stopped listening to this show for a while and came back to see if things had changed. It has not….still slurping Al P. Part of the reason we didn't/ couldn't run the offense through him is cuz he was in constant foul trouble nightly. The host always glosses over this. Silas is here cuz he's done exactly as he's been told to do. And with reports that Stone has been interfering and meddling in decisions and lineups…. horrible. So when Stone said he's been giving Silas 50 different ideas…. he's not lying but not being honest either. Also OKC is ahead of us cuz they've been worse far longer than we have. Enjoy.

    Love the podcast, but I don't agree with all the Silas hate. I think this season is more of an indictment of the talent level of the roster than the coaching. Stone kept last year's roster mostly the same, and this year the roster got worse after the trade deadline. Firing Silas and making Lucas or Abdelfattah become the face of the tank for the remaining games is unfair to them and their career prospects – especially when we don't know for sure how long KPJ and Green will be out.

    I would feel worse about Stone and Fertitta if they made Silas be the face of the tank and then fired him immediately when they wanted to become competitive, unless of course there is a rift between Silas and the players. If the players still want to be coached by Silas, I think he should get another year on the job, and if they aren't competitive by December 2023, show him the door at that time. We probably won't be immediately competitive next year anyway. Whatever top 5 player we draft next year is probably going to need at least 2 more years to develop. It's too soon to fire anybody at the moment – coach or GM.

    You kind of did excuse Miller with your lighthearted explanation of the situation. He brought a gun to someone at night. A small child lost a mother as a result. I was all in on him but I don’t want to cheer for him ever
