I love that we traded 4 second round picks for a veteran that we won’t re-sign to dodge the tax but that Willie can also play in front of Trey Murphy for the rest of the year

Better ROI cheering for the teams playing against the Lakers

  4. BobMarleynthewhalers

the sooner the season can end the sooner david griffin can be fired.

Hope those “meaningless games”, don’t worry about it people are ready to line up…those mfers aren’t watching games anymore

Three quarters of dogshit will always make one quarter of effort totally irrelevant.

This team has fallen apart and we’re just not very good outside BI/Zion. Hard to argue with a complete retool in the offseason.

all due respect to Jonas he can’t fucking play defense

  8. Y’all so quick to be negative as fuck but quiet when the same players you slander start balling tf out.

I’ll never understandSo many missed bunny layups and dumb turnovers (BI and CJ as primary playmakers guilty af) we shouldn’t have even been down. At least BI shot 5 of 7 and CJ 3 of 5 from 3. Defensive breakdowns out the wazoo. Herb is being guarded like Ben Simmons his offense doesn’t exist anymore not even cutting hard to the rim. JV I have no words, Poeltl 21&18.

Just sucks Toronto picked up Poeltl for relatively cheap. Josh is nice but could we not have done more? Without Z, BI cannot do this alone

Team should’ve moved *Jax and went for a CHEAP rim protector like Noel or Bamba

Richardson for Graham was a good move however so that’s a plus

JV can carry us offensively or totally weigh us down. Seems more and more it’s the latter.

Team has to be more focused and disciplined. Can’t wait on Zion to put it together.

This team with Zion is a contender tho

  10. Our coach has low bball IQ. Not the best situation tbh

when the pelicans took out Jonas, Poetl looked like Prime Fucking Shaq

Yeah sorry we weren’t winning this game at any point

Guys, what do we have to do to have a good basketball team?

We are good fans, we don’t deserve this…/

One thing I can say is I’m happy we didn’t trade 3 first round picks for OG.

Back to .500 again. Fake comeback was activated once again.

    Pels basketball is back baby!

  16. ChickenWarm

I miss the off-season when we were purely hope and potential.

There’s gotta be someone in the g-league who moves their feet better than Jonas and is taller than Larry.

  18. BasketTimely

First game back after a long break, could definitely see that on the floor tonight.

I have my concerns about fits and other things but I’m not going to freak out unless we happen to go on another losing streak or something crazy.

Really just need our players to be healthy:/

Today was a very disheartening welcome back from the break. Demoting Trey for Richardson is asinine when our offense has been this bad and we need to generate more 3’s. At least play him over Herb!

trading Graham has only made things worse minutes wise because now Trey and Dyson when he returns are getting twice as many minutes taken away from them because Willie is now in love with J Rich.

If we aren’t making a move to contend this year then at least put your focus in developing these core young pieces that are here for the future. Disheartening.

This team is so frustrating to watch. Why are we always digging ourselves out of large double digit leads? Why are we masters of the fake comeback? Why didn’t Billy touch the floor for a single second? And why on God’s flat earth did Willie take out Jonas when Poeltl was in?

Find out next time on Dragon Ball Z!

  21. FlyingSMonster

I’ll admit I’ve tried to stay measured and calm about a lot of these losses lately but it’s really starting to get to me. This shouldn’t be happening. Willie is mostly responsible and I wouldn’t be surprised if he doesn’t last much longer in NOLA if things don’t turn around fast.

  22. AnotherStatsGuy

If the goal is to get teams to underestimate the Pelicans again, then they’re succeeding. You can’t get outscored by 4+ in each of the 1st 3 Quarters. (That’s how you enter the 4th down 13.)

Some variance, some bad mistakes, teams play you different when they respect you and the Pelicans haven’t figured out to how do that yet.

  23. SevenHunnet3Hi5s

we make every big man in the league look like prime tim duncan against us. i don’t know why i thought we’d magically just be better after the all star break.

  24. Willie Green is bad
Go small ball vs maybe the biggest team in the NBA

  25. Pinky1337

The teams biggest issue is coaching. I dont know if Willie is the issue or some of the assistants need to go but something gotta change in the offseason. Right after that is rim protection tho I cant believe they didnt trade Jax for a real basketball player

  26. NikoRavage

Adam Silver and the NBA gave us a shitty script. I woulda ripped it up if I was Gayle Benson

  27. BatmanHive

4 years and DG is still searching for the right big. Willie doesn’t want to play Jonas because of switch defense but that means Nance who is just not big enough for rebounds.

Tonight the game was lost when it was a 6 point game and Nance came in for Jonas and then Poetl just dominated on every offensive rebound. Jonas came back too late and you saw Poetl didn’t do much since. I thought keeping in Jonas should have been the move.

  28. The things Zion would do to the Raptors😮‍💨
