The defense is soft, and the players are afraid of the referees now… Nobody drives to the basket and if they do, they pass it off instead of going hard to the hole… Time to kick some tail in the locker room

Let's face it. This Pelicans team isn't very good. Sure they're missing Zion, but some players have regressed since last season.
Herb is still awesome defensively but he's borderline unplayable offensively. The Pelicans are playing 4vs5 when he's in. He's reaching Matisse Thybulle territory.
Trey is inconsistent and when his shot isn't falling then he's not contributing much to the team.
Jonas seems cooked. He can't protect the paint, he can't defend the pick 'n' roll and he continues to get outplayed by every decent center. Tonight Poeltl looked like prime Shaq.
Jose is more of a 3rd stringer pg on a good playoff team. The Pelicans need a better and more seasoned pg off the bench.
Pels are looking like losers ! Poor offensive spacing and production. Other NBA teams look better prepared than the Pels !

JV nice but Pels need a Dwight Howard type center who would give rim protection(everybody blow Griff up and tell him go get Dwight out of Taiwan Pels need him)…. And he would create easy offense in the paint….BI gotta take care the ball better 6 tos not gone help(been back less than 10 games so I’ll say rust) Trey need to have the same confidence he has when BI not on the floor….
