Who is a better fit for the Charlotte Hornets? Scoot Henderson or Victor Wembanyama? In the 2023 NBA draft there is Victor Wembanyama and Scoot Henderson, then there is everyone else. Who do you believe is a better fit for the Hornets? Wemby seems more at the 4 than as a true center but how does the rest of the team fit around him? The smart thing to do is just to take the best player and figure it out. But Scoot is a very great player and some say better than Victor. Scoot Henderson can just be plugged right into the team and it would not require much shuffling around. The answer is obvious I’m sure but the topic is an interesting one to discuss. I think victor fits if you develop him right and actually trust youth this time. Scoot fits it you want a 6th man unlike cooper who loves to hurl insults at every disagreement ill tell you this although i think yall dont deserve vic due to the terrible treament of young players that your team does, i'll say go for best player available. Its not a guarentee yet that you will have the #1 pick plus you need a backup Guard to relieve Melo or rozier if they get hurt so for me as much as i hate to say this go for Vic if you have the 1st pick but if you have #2 scoot is your best choice and he has experience playing with Lamelo and know how Melo plays thab victor so in my opinion, ill go for a player that has played with a menebr of my team in an exhibtion game because it will help with chemistry and they will gel. Vic fits but i think he mighy struggle to adapt to Lamelo like Scoot due to the rising stars game. Scoot is a great fit for the Charlotte system than Victor.
IF hornets do get the #1 pick and draft wemby, he'd have to be your starting center. Clifford would have to trade either mark or nick cause having 3 centers would be chaotic.
Miles Bridges would definitely be power forward BUT!, this team seriously need to trade Terry and Gordon, and getting better shooters around Melo. If not then Kelly can be the starting 2. Either way, this off-season I want terry gordon and cody and svi traded cause it's simply not working anymore!.
Scoot wouldn't be good here since Charlotte is already packed with guards and you already have your starting franchise PG in MB1. Unless they trade or waive one of them, i just don't see Scooter becoming a hornet.
Victor is a multiple way player, offensively & defensively.
