This game was our biggest fears come true.

  2. Afuldufulbear

I have never seen plus/minuses like these.

  3. Sports_bet_alt

    Play Yuta

    Play Sumner

Give Cam the time and trust he deserves

  4. president_mal

We might not be winning the chip this year

  5. Possible-Collection2

Should’ve traded Yuta he doesn’t deserve this. Why keep him if you aren’t going to play him. He’s going to be gone next season. Also no way he got more points than two of our starters.

I mean, just nothing went our way. Nothing. These games happen, but yikes.

On the bright side, the Heat and Cavs lost too, so this game really doesn’t affect anything. Maybe our expectations lol.

  7. FamiliarComb3166

Horrible game. Hopefully this fires up the team for the next game because this was some ass.

  8. Kodak_Snowshoe

Only 5th worst game in Nets history. Future looks bright

  9. TheNightRain68

I pray this was just bad rust coming off the break and it’s all shaken off come Sunday

  10. I get people may feel indifferent and you simply can’t blame this all on one person especially considering his situation but my god Vaughns rotations are horrible. I’m not going to overreact too much but games like this make me question extending him even before seeing what he was capable of with this roster.

  11. What, no Suns fans to hype us up on their old role players today?

  12. souttous

Why’s Yuta buried? Actually one of our best players this season.

Seth is cooked. Those garbage points can’t disguise the truth. Gave back every point on the other end and was barely shuffling his feet. He and Cam were chucking in garbage time.

Guys cmon. This is who we are now. I said it in another post days ago. Got downvoted because, well, Reddit Nets fans are unrealistic homers lol

This is a team completely made up of role players and bench players. We sold the farm and went from 3 Hall of Famers to a team without even an All-Star on the roster. This is going to get worse (again) before it somehow may get better in a few years. What did everyone expect? Middling players, a mediocre head coach at best, a GM in over his head, a clueless owner. I’m in full agreement that KD and even Harden and especially Irving mostly should deserve the brunt of our ire. But there’s a front office that can’t read a room. How do you wind up with a team with no real PG, no real Center, and 427 forwards? I mean, what is that?

Shit, I’ve been around for the Michael Ray Richardson years. The Yinka Dare years. The Ed OBannon years. So this isn’t the worst ever Nets team. And they have a few good young players who could grow. But this may get ugly the next 6 weeks. If you assume the worst it won’t hurt quite as much when it inevitably happens. That’s been my Nets motto since 1983. LOL. No reason to change it now…

Dinwiddie is worse then before. At least before he didn’t think his shot was that good and he went to the basket and distributed more. And Cam Thomas couldn’t guard my grandmother and she’s dead. Also who the hell lied and said Finney Smith could shoot? This game was sad but remember the one we had 91 in a half and just cherish that until next season, let’s hope Ben is either gone or his back is better and we get a star with our picks.

Mavs fans spoke about how much they miss DFS but man he’s been awful since the trade.

It’s almost like having another simmons out there who’s actually worse because he can’t even pass.

I like having the toughness of multiple defensive minded players but I can’t see how they make it work if he’s cemented as a starter.

The obvious choice to replace him is Thomas but if they aren’t gonna do that they have to at least put a real floor spacer out there.

Guys like DFS and O’Neale are great pieces on contenders but don’t really have a place on a mid level team. They are complimentary pieces playing next to superstars.

This team obviously isn’t as bad as they looked tonight but many of the issues we saw are real and can’t be chalked up to “ehh it happens.”

The Miami game before the break was nice but that team hasn’t been impressive this season and they were missing key players.

Also why is there so much talk about claxton being tired? He’s 23 years old, averages 30 mins and 60 games in he needs load management? There are players his age playing more minutes and being asked to do much more.

I’m not saying he’s not tired but if he is that’s actually concerning.

Losses like this are outliers. The Nets had a similar loss against the Kings right before their winning streak.

I know it’s tough to watch a game like that, but building chemistry and figuring out a system takes time.
